I played forza 5 today and i gotta say it looked amazing. It did.....however i couldnt find that fun factor because it felt just like forza 4. So now your gas trigger and brake trigger have rumbles ...woooo....I honestly had more fun playing killer instict. Didnt even care for forza after that.

At least Bathurst will be in GT6 so we don't miss out. I think it'll be kind of fun switching to GT for a couple years while we wait for the new Forza.

I'm more hyped for GT6 as an F1 fan than a touge fan to be honest. Silverstone, Spa, Monaco, Indy, Fuji, Suzuka, Monza, and Brands Hatch with possibly 3 different F1 cars (Ferrari F2007, F10, and FGT).
If the Course Maker goes smoothly then I can expect myself to love the shit out of this game.

Okay new news:
1) Nurburgring Nordschleife will come out as a January DLC. We still don't know if it's free or charged and we don't know if it's the FULL ring which includes the GP circuit. All we do know is that it's gonna be fully laser scanned.
2) Turn10 released 2 gameplay videos. Here:
The graphics look stunning and the AI seems to have improved even more.

Good news that nurburgring is getting in, really hope it's not a paid DLC though as I heard on the forza forums that they have already scanned nurburgring for forza 5.

That was some great gameplay footage, this confirms it for me, Forza took a huge leap ahead of GT in terms of realism. I don't think there's any way that Nurburgring won't be paid DLC, standard Microsoft business strategy at work. Figures they'd take a favorite too, why can't they just take Bernese Alps hostage?
What do you guys think GT is going to do when they have to dive into next gen? I guess they could either continue with their current plan and port everything from GT6 over to the new one, but by then the models and tracks that we've been seeing since the PS2 era will look even worse than they do now. That's not even mentioning the dated physics and behavior attached to each car either.
The other option is going the Forza route and wiping the slate clean to create as high quality an experience as possible, but then you get things like 200 cars and 14 tracks. When compared to last gen's quality to quantity ratio that's a decent spike in quality and a nosedive in quantity which can really keep anyone but the most hardcore fans from your game.

They need to find the right balance between the 2. although personalky i think gt has overstepped his climax with #4 especially for having to wait THAT long for #5 and what it actually delivered

No matter how many times I try to compare FM5 and GT6, them being complete polar opposites, what I really end up doing is comparing it to FM4 and in the end to me they both lose. However, if it weren't for the fact that: A) I'd have to buy a whole new console and B) I'd have to buy a whole new steering wheel then I probably would have bought FM5 over GT6 because as far as racing sims go, quality > quantity.
I really hope GT6 doesn't suck.

Im not buying gt6 on release date. Ill wait a few days at least soak up some feedback look at gameplays an all that.
Fm5 will sure be awesome as F but the lack of some cars i use now in fm4 regularly AND the fact not even my beloved nürburgring will be in i can wait some more on spending 600 bucks

Kraze I was looking into buying a wheel recently and i'd be beyond mad if I were you. They're like 300$+ and T10 really just isn't going to support their own official "Forza Motorsport" fanatec wheel? Way to inspire confidence in making a huge purchase like that, I wonder how well the new "Forza Motorsport 5™" wheel is going to sell with people knowing that there's a chance it won't work with future games.
I'd also agree that i'd still buy Forza 5 if I didn't have to buy a whole console to play it. The quality of the little bit of i've seen is amazing! I'll think about buying if and when they include Fujimi Kaido, night racing, and at least an FC and a 240z.

They remodeled the 510 before the 240z -___- My guess is that the wanted more cars to fit certain classes first, which is why i think they thru the 7th gen celica in there.
