I was wondering if you guys had like a special "edge of the seat with goosebumps all over your body" kind of moment
To me it clearly is the scene when takumi and mako go through the C-121 on usui pass. no other moment throughout the complete anime caught me like that.

Both God races got me tense, when Takumi got overtaken I was like waaaaat and God Foot's stunt was insane I loved it. Close 2nd place would be the MR2 jumping over the curb and 3rd place Takumi driving with his lights off against the EK9.

when takumi's wings first appeared, when takumi overtook godarm, takumi racing up behind kenta and that guy who was guna rape natsuki and when keisuke switched to battle mode against go hojo and wheel power & go started playing

I knew that the FD vs NSX would play "The Top - Ken Blast" but I was hoping they'd play "Freedom Ride - Snake" too it fits the mood of the race so well

I think my favorite is when Ryosuke was racing Rin and after getting hit he drove the FC up onto the side of the hill. Close second would be the very first race when Takumi passes Keisuke on the third hairpin.

i feel like that whole part of the race with shingo from the night kids when tak blacked out/ hit his fujiwara zone without the teleporting lol catch's my eye always, takwas gutter running with his rear outside tire at one point i was like geez!

While there are plenty of better races, a more emotional moment for me would be when the 86's engine blows against the EVO III. That scene always gets to me, seeing him become one with the car as he tries to keep up only to fail. And then seeing the new 86 is sort of bittersweet. It's just not the same car as it was back with the 16V 4AG.

In that case seeing Keisuke wreck his FD got me too. He definitely didn't deserve that. Made me that more excited to see his FD power up like 5 levels into RE mode lol
When keisuke beat that white Evo 6 guy and started talking shit afterwards!!! 2nd but my first I'd have to say when takumi first noticed godhand was changing his line and entering and exiting at the same speed

I knew I was forgetting something! Yeah King has the right idea, my favorite race in the series will always be the race with Shingo. We never got to see that side of Takumi again after was spun out and he comes back and starts riding walls and bouncing off of guardrails. I still think that no race has come close to topping that one in the series save for maybe the FC vs GTR.

That looks good! Also, my favorite Initial D race has to be with him against Mako and Sayuki's Sileighty. It was the only race that I thought he would lose. New course, unheard of car as an opponent. Also the cars are my two favorite cars in the series so that helps it some!
