Skyrim Discussion Thread

Since there seem to be a lot of people in this Forum playing Skyrim I though it may be a good idea to have a thread for that game too.

This is meant for General Discussion or if someone needs help with anything referring to the game you can post it right here.

Yeah I'm now working on rebuilding the thieves guild Lovin all those side quests you can do for Vex and Devlin and you make a shitload of money compared to the other guilds

Yeah I'm waiting for the GotY edition with all 5 add-ons in it. Especially interested in the one where you can tame a dragon and fly around with like a boss

Oh well Skyrim is a game that can draw you in so deep that you actually forget to got to bed some nights

Did you guys ever play any of the older ones? I started on Morrowind at a friends house as a kid, bought Oblivion when it came out on the 360, and I play Skyrim on my PC. Oblivion was an amazing game, I like the it feels more like an RPG than Skyrim. Skyrim strikes me as more action oriented, though I love it just as much as I do Oblivion.

The modding community for Skyrim is just incredible, it's like I have a whole new game after I got done modding in new weapons, armor, texture revamps, physics overhauls, difficulty enhancers and survival elements. Makes me want to get into it again...

Yeah I started out with Morrowind on PC and I've been an addict right from the get go. Got Oblivion GotY on PC as well but I guess that Skyrim would blow it up so I got that one for Xbox360

i started at morrowind on pc too, then at oblivion. Oblivion was really great too.

Btw, if you guys like elder scrolls, youd propably like fallout series too
Fallouts are great games too.

i agree on that 100%

Fallout is awesome played 3 and New Vegas has some great characters in it

It's called The Elder Scrolls Online, I think it looks pretty interesting.

Yeah when I heard they were having a closed beta I instantly signed up hope I get invited.

Actually this is the first Forum I don't see mods complaining about multi-posting. It's really a pain in the ass on other forums how you get mashed on for it

let me know how you like being a Nord. ive heard several reviews saying the Nord character is not so good. Ive been a Kajiit, Wood Elf, High Elf, and first account was a Red guard which i didnt like.

Well, playing as a nord warrior aint bad at all imo.
And i didnt like being a vampire either, really annoying in the daylight, and that vampire lord is too clumsy. When you transform to vampire lord, you cannot even open containers, pick locks etc. So being a vampire is not good.

And yeah oblivion was really good too.

actually liked being a vampire on oblivion. never been infected with the disease on skyrim though

I have the dawnguard dlc, there you can choose to be or not to be a vampire

Companions in skyrim are dumb as retarded monkeys.
Thewy disappear suddenly, and MIGHT come back some time, they tend to get in a way, dialogue with em is bad (fallout is better in ALL dialogues + characters).
Better off with out them imo

but they can take a beating and do damage if they have a good weapon

This, any double posting or in this place quint-posting is unnecessary. I can see doing it for setting up team threads and tune shops etc, but anywhere else is unnecessary, try to stay away from it. Pretty sure its common forum etiquette on every forum

I think in the summer. Now that I research it more it's actually not based off the game. It's going to have Tom Cruise in it though.

wtf do i have to do to get that achievement for rebuilding the thieves guild? i completed their mainquest shouldnt that be enough?

U just gotta keep putting money into it by stealing for them if I remember correctly

oh ok yeah that makes sense. they keep talking about how they had traders and stuff down there and that they would come back when the guild was up again.
