E3 2014 Discussion Thread

I wonder if the weather will affect the physics, for all we know it can just be rain on screen but no loss of tire grip like in NFS and TDU. It's supposed to be more arcade than sim like FH1 right?

I hope it does but even if it doesnt the basics for weather in fm6 would be made

Honestly I think T10's plan for features like night and weather racing is to just leave it in the Horizon series indefinitely. They probably think the Horizon crowd are the ones that want it the most and that sim racers don't care for it.

They must have noticed that the players are demanding the opposite. They HAVE to feature it at one point i think

They probably know that people want it, they just don't want to go below 60fps in their main games so their compromise is to make a spin off game with all the features that people keep asking for that they don't want to include in FM. At least that's the way I see it.

The only way I can see night or weather racing in FM6 is if they really did rush out FM5 and it's not utilizing the X1's full power. I wish T10 would be less tight lipped about the specifics of these things so we could get a feeling for what their intentions are with each series but as of now I think FH is their way of trying things they can't do with FM.

With fm5 being a launch title for x1 i hardly doubt its even close to the hardwares limits

We can expect a ton more in the next few years

I believe Ed said tuning is going to be integrated in the X1 v. of FH2

Lets hope "tuning" doesn't mean just adding parts.

Only caught a bit of Crackdown 3 on twitch before i had to leave.
COD actually looks like the game was made for next gen, COD Ghosts felt exactly the same from 360, boring just with a better frame rate and extra multiplayer playlists.
Battlefield Hardline looks like a good change of pace from the typical war game.

Didn't watch live but I did look up after I heard some things about Halo

The master chief colleciton looks amazing, Going to be awesome to have such an awesome series of games ported over.

Halo 2 was a huge part of my life, met many people around the states, MLG got huge with it, being a part of that was awesome, can't wait for all that nostalgia. Also the fact they confirmed the original untouched multiplayer for halo 2 was amazing. Glad they are leaving the glitches in!

Rainbow Six Siege looks cool as hell I loved Rainbow Six Vegas.

I think the highlight for me was HULK SMASH

I'm pretty excited to see what the new Zelda game is like. It looks pretty awesome so far.
