Possibly.
Last time we had a little mishap. Nobody got the episodes in 720p, so all the fansubbers ended up ignoring it until someone really awesome decided to sub it for us in 360p.
Hopefully someone will grab it in 720p this time so the fansubbers can get it done. Go2id typically gets some subs out pretty fast but they were pretty awful last time I checked.

Usually it takes from 1-3 days from release for subs for the 1st episode released then another 1-3 days for the second. That has pretty much been the standard for the most part

I still haven't watched any of the previous episodes for Stage 5.
I was going to re-watch Stage 1-4 on Netflix, BUT THEY TOOK ALL THE ANIMATED INITIAL D SERIES DOWN WWWWWTTTTTTTTTTTFFFFFFFFFF!!
So, now I'm just goin to have to buy the box set.

Funny thing is I just subcribed to funimation at the end of my last semester because I had one of their animators come into our Digital Art class to give a presentation. They do some pretty cool stuff. That's pretty bad a$$ that they show Initial D stuff.
