the uphill isnt my best race, but im game. is this still happening? what happens if we lose the uphill but win the downhill? what are the rules? i neeeed answers!

rules are a class uphill and b class downhill. Course is the new side of the mountain. If we win one each we will have one more race to decide it either uphill or downhill. The rules we go by is in the first page of this thread I think

i dont like that the chaser can win without passing, you should have to pass or leader have more than 100 feet on the chaser

The only way the chaser can win without passing is if he sticks to the lead car. Its as much pressure chasing as it is leading. They are in the same boat

Anyway its an option to have the passing rule active

I think the no passing rule is mOre fun but on the other hand the chaser has a disadvantage if he could actually go faster then the leader but is slowed down in key points

So, i race the uphill part and you bukkaz the downhill part? Suits me and i talked about the rules with johnny, but ill post them here when the rules are desided.

We usually go by these rules below. And these rules are realistic imo, fun and simple enough

Cat & mouse.
100ft or more- Chaser loses
80ft-100ft - Draw
Less than 80ft - Chaser wins
Passing rule will be decided by drivers. 30mph rolling start, floor it at the startline
If chaser passes and holds the lead, then the initial chaser wins.


Deathmatch.
Leader must outrun the chaser in order to win. (outrun distance unresolved)

Handicap style.
The "slower" guy leads in front and the "faster" guy chases. If the chaser is unable to overtake the leading car before the finish line, he loses

Aight so after some discuss with johnny, we ended up using those deathmatch rules above.
BUT, we still need to figure that outrun distance, suggestion perhaps?

What about 200- 250ft? And who is guna be chasing in the downhill match?

Lets figure that out tomorrow night, perhaps i can be on then lol. And i dont know whos chasing, usually the one who has less horsepower leads first.

200 feet sounds fair, i think thats roughly one second apart

200ft is too small gap imo

200ft is about 15 car lengths btw
