| Hah, thanks! It's a strange feeling, it's like before I felt like I was going fast, but running 4:38. Now I feel like i'm cornering slowly but running 4:37. | |

| If your a slow ass racer then that makes me a creepin' ass racer I guess, haha. I just recently started getting serious on the new down hill though. Hit a 4:50.xxx the other day in my EK and I'm real proud of it!

| Just got a 4'48"! I was racing a 4'50" ghost and the whole time I was just waiting thinking "okay, he's gonna blow by me any second no way I can keep this lead I only run 4'51" best!". But with Felon's tune(plus alittle tinkering by me) I was able to smash my old best of 4'52"!!
Now I'm have to watch the replay and dissect the run to see where I can stand to gain some time.

| Just matched my personal best with the hakosuka GT-R on my first shot. I think the GT-R matches my aggressive driving style a lot better. I dunno, just surprised me that right off the bat even with a couple mistakes I matched what took weeks to do in my s13. I'm going to start another thread on "how did you choose your touge car" because I would like to find out how you guys eventually settled on the car you drive most of the time. | |

| Got a 4:49.673 just now in my EK! I know it doesn't seem very fast, but it was seriously like 2 weeks ago when I was still getting 5's, haha. | |

| Just did 4'46"9xx dirty with the Hako. It's so fast but I keep dirtying my laps by doing stupid things like nipping the guardrails on the chicane section. Looks like I found my new car though, I can see a whole bunch of areas where I can improve and I'm already getting in the 46's. | |

Don't worry too much about dirtying the lap, just go as fast as you can, if it ends up dirty, not a problem. If you can run it dirty, you can run it clean

That's fast progress! I was watching you race earlier today, you're great for someone who just started.

| Yea I was racing betadood(your brother?). I always get nervous racing with other people and end up screwing up a lot. I focus too much on not wrecking or wrecking the other person that I miss brake zones and go off line a lot. I'm starting to get used to it tho, I'm pretty sure he was letting me catch up on the couple times I was following so I could see his lines. Definitely helped me and I'm getting more comfortable. | |

| No, kinda just took the stock tune out for a spin and used telemetry to find out what it needed to suite my style. Like you said in your family review, this thing loved to oversteer and seemed to want to slide no matter what. So I softened the rear up and gave it some toe-in. It worked, but then the front was starting to plow slightly so I adjusted the sway bar to compensate.
Took alittle time but I lucked out and got it on the first try. I use Motegi to tune my cars since it has a couple chicanes along with a couple off-camber corners. When I felt good with it I took it to the mountain then kept an eye on tire temps to see if it needed any camber adjustments. I was already at -1.0 on the fronts so I used caster to give me the camber change I needed in the corners. Now tire temps are 205ish up front and 190ish out back, with a 5 degree diff. across the tread. 15 degree difference on the touge(where you're asking a lot from the front tires) ain't too shabby.
