| Just posted a 4'47"3xx clean so that makes me feel better that I ran a clean, fast lap. Still made plenty of small mistakes that make me think I could at least run a 4'45" if I have a near perfect run. | |

| Holy crap just ran a 4'45"9xx! Cot damn this thing is quick and I'm still making mistakes so I should be able to get to at least 4'44" soon. My goal right now is to beat the one other GT-R on the leader board that has a 4'43"63. I think with alittle more practice and patience ill be there. Gotta give my hands a rest for now, that'll be it for tonight | |

| Running a consistent 4'45" now, had a 4'45"001 this morning so I know I'll be getting into the 44's soon enough. I can't believe how brutally the GT-R accelerates, I tried to run my ghost in the s13 and I was getting pulled on in every corner and had at least 10 car lengths by the end of the long straight. Trying to post a clean 45 now since my 46 ghost seems so slow.
EDIT: just got a 4'44"6, just one second away from victory!

| I think it's because I took Mind's advice and let the dirty laps fly. Before I'd restart as soon as I touched the wall and I think I was focusing too much on not hitting things to have a real fast lap. I watched some of the faster replays from you guys and saw the key is to cut the closest line, to pretty much only have a paper-thin gap between the car and the guardrails. I noticed once I started driving like that I was shaving .5" here and there. But due to cutting such a close line I have to have complete control over the car. I see now when I get off line or scrape a rail my mind wasn't in it. I was either looking how far my ghost was in the mirror or thinking "I should have held that gear longer" or contemplating what to have for dinner lol. My best times were this morning right after I ate and my mind was completely blank the entire race. I was just focusing on being as fluid as possible and stretching my braking zones as far as possible. I think by next week ill be able to get my 4'43" but it won't be clean. Running that time clean will take a long time I think, I have to be completely aware of the track and the car and almost be able to see the perfect line drawn out on the road ahead.
You guys have been all great, I definitely have to pick up a mic this week so I can run online with you all and have fun!

| Just got my best so far in the EG with a 4:46.937 on the New Down Hill.
Kirk's been a lot of help so far with just tuning a lone. I'm sure once we start getting into line work I'll be shaving off the seconds in no time.

Ya, he's been a lot of help so far. Took me a couple runs to get the gear ratios down, but I could tell rite away the car was faster with that tune. - StrawberryGL wrote:

I honestly never thought I'd be leaning towards the FF's so much. I've tried a couple of my old touge cars and can't keep up with my EG ghost at all. I just got done running a 4:45.669 dirty. Going to give it a rest for now and get back at it tomorrow afternoon.

Scary, it took Beta and I nearly 4 months to reach that level! With just a few day's practice too, it's unreal. I look forward to the day you and Bukkaz finally race. - Quote :

You've got to have a certain style to handle an FF, I guess it just suits you better. Every time I try an FF I embarass myself.
