Card games

Hi, I just wanted to see if anyone played trading card games like Yu-Gi-Oh! or Magic: the Gathering to name some notable ones.

I've been looking for people to battle in YGO, so I can study their decks and create a better deck than the one I currently have.
Also, YGO has several duel simulators, such as Dueling Network and YGOPro DevPro (I use the latter).

Anyone up for some card games?

I have a few friends that I play YGOPro with sometimes but we're a bunch of nostalgia scrubs that don't use XYZ or Synchro lol

Maybe I can play with you guys? I only use a synchro for a chain effect with a Malefic monster.

My roommate is a YuGiOh "pro" he knows his shit and he plays online, I'm guessing in one of the networks you mentioned.

Most likely DN. A lot of the pro players go to that one and are usually ranked 1300 or higher.

Yeah maybe we'll try out tag dueling or something.

I use a few main decks, Blue Eyes (when I was a kid betadood used magicians and I used dragons 'cause we loved the show lol), Arcana Force, and Madolche.

My main deck (Or rather my only) is a Dark World/Malefic Exodia draw.

So uh, I play MTG a bit. I have a five turn win deck centered around this card. I call it my Honey Badger deck.

I'm guessing you use artifacts on it or enchance its power and defense?

Not artifacts, only because they take to long to get onto the field sometimes but I use mostly enchanments. Granted I pull the right cards on my first draw, I can pull a 4-5 turn win. I came in third place in the last tournament I went to. I was beaten by a red deck that was even faster than mine. After that, I just stopped playing altogether.

Some cards I used in that deck (I have four of each as that is the maximum limit in a tourney);
Madcap Skills
Giant Growth
Phytoburst

Most of my enchants and sorceries are low drops to make the deck retarded fast.

LEt me break down the turns.
Turn 1: Drop Stomping Grounds, pay 2 life, drop badger.

Turn 2: drop a forest, play giant growth on da badger, swing for 4 life with trample.

Turn 3: drop another forest, play madcap skills on da badger, swing for 4 again with trample.

Turn 4: drop another forest again, play armed part of Armed and Dangerous on da badger, and play another giant growth. Swing for 16.

Win.

I should add that on turn 4, I am actually swinging for 8 with double strike and trample, and if my opponent wishes to block, it must be done with 2 creatures thanks to madcap skills.

That's a particularly aggressive build.
