ok so i have been looking over the tsubaki line and i dont think takumi can overtake shinji again after he got taken at the final hairpin because there is no decent corners left where he can get more speed than shinji. I personaly think that it has to go through to a second round but i think project D will decline because takumi's 86's tyres are totally shot and wont be able to handle a second run making shinji the winner
- Spoiler:
but truthfully remember when takumis tires were getting bald in the match with wataru on shomeru pass his tires got bald and takumi says" hey i can actually control the car better with the tires" and cough he passed him on that tight ass spot with the dirt pile to his right did i mention his tires were bald?"

yeah I know his tires are bald but right now takumi is going for another blind attack on shinji o just gotta see if that works or not. But the corners that are left are only like 50 degree angles so he wont take shinji through cornering but I think takumi will try and use every last rpm he has to try and pull along side shinji

| Well if he does, you must remember that
a) his car has not proven reliable in the past, and b) an 11,000+ rpm, 240 hp 2.0L 4AGE will not take abuse lightly.

| ok here is how it is... a) the only time takumi's engine has been "unreliable" was in the second stage when takumi still had the standard engine in the 86 was when he was chasing a 2.0L, 350hp,awd turbo evo 3 and takumi was keeping up so i would say thats a pretty good damn engine to hold out as long as it did considering it's a 1.6 NA engine while being pushed over its limits keeping up with that kind of car. b) and the engine that he has got in it now aint a 2.0L its still a 1.6L that is a group A TRD silvertop engine that was developed in the racing scene so i would say it can take alot of punishment plus project D's mechanics are always working on the car so it can definatly hold out | |

| yeah, I've no idea why I said 2.0L. Still, nothing happened to Tak's car the first time, it was just old - and a racing engine has a service life of about 4 hours before a total rebuild - unless that happens off screen, so far all I've seen Project D's mechanics doing is tires and suspension settings (and boost on Keisuke's car).
If I had to REALLY guess what's going to happen though, it'll be just what happened between Ryosuke and Tak the first time - Tak will pass, get passed, and refuse a second run because he considers it a loss.

The funimation youtube has 1st, 2nd, and fourth stage, not sure of 3rd stage movie They also have for the first stage both dubs and subs, but I recommend subs

That would be the Tokyopop dub. The Funimation dub isn't bad actually.
