So I beat the game a second time with the FD again but this time when I raced Bunta I still averaged 3:20s with a fully tuned car. HOW THE FUCK do I get to sub-3:10s??

He makes it look so easy! Amazing that he didn't touch any walls despite being that close. The way he grabs the inside is spot on too. I might as well throw my racing physics book out the window right now if I'm gonna use those lines lol.

Ok so when my FD was stock I lost to Takumi by nearly 200m but now I got a new S2000 which is still stock but this time I could actually BEAT Takumi with it! WTF?? Is the S2K that much faster than the FD or what?

You probably just got better is all. Takumi is not that hard once you understand how the physics work.

Weird. Well my stock S2000 is just 3 seconds slower than my fully tuned FD at the moment

The s2000 might be better at Akina?
Yeah, and once you understand the physics it's kind of a cakewalk, beat Project D Takumi and Bunta with a stock 85, kind of a challenge.

Don't really know how I missed this but there is a race against Takumi while he is still in middle school in IDAS7. Why it isn't on Akina I will never know but it's still pretty cool.

I had such a close battle against the leader of the night kids with me in a stock 86, he pulled away near the start and when I got close to him I blind attacked him and got ahead then he got back in front of me so I turned my lights off again and drove the last half with them off and overtook him at the finish line with only a 10ft advantage lol

The location test will be held this Saturday January the 18th. Hopefully someone gets some footage up on youtube.
Some new features so far, - New story mode - New game mode to make Iketani faint as quick as possible - New game mode don't spill the paper cup challenge - Custom titles - Custom tachometers - Initial D coins??? (sounds like micro transactions)

Apparently, there's a 3DS Initial D coming out? I bought my 2DS at just the right time.

You mean this?
It's nothing like the arcade stage games, it's a free to play game where all you do is shift. Not to mention even if you did want to play it the 3DS is region locked. Hopefully sega decides to port one of the recent arcade stages to PS3/PS4 soon.

then yes you did. But this is supposed to be about arcade stage 8 anyways, not the region locked free to play game.
