He put an ad up on craigslist selling his car, his modifications include a carburated V8 swap, and other american racing assets.
SO IN OTHER WORDS YOU TURNED A CORNERING MACHINE INTO A 600hp DRAG STRIP CAR.
WHYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?

lol, it doesn't look like it's in great condition. But some value different cars more than others...

well considering that inline six weighs just about the same as that v8. honestly, i dont see a bad thing in doing that. Get custom rates for ur front coils, and u wouldnt even notice the difference. Trust me i drove s13 with sr's and i gotta rb in mine and people who dont know what they are talking about always say man your stupid that thing is too heavy in the front to be anything but a drag car well obviously people like that should just burn in hell stop this myth that v8's are pointless meanwhile u got miatas thats are way lighter with heavier motors auto x and road racing its a myth people although those cast iron carbd blocks are a tad bit heavier lol but the ls1 and ls2 etc are all aluminum blocks they are lighter than any rb period!

Now i dont give a F bout the v8 really but all that drag-racing kind of tuning incl the cosmetics. Its just a shame on a car like this

I don't have a problem with the V8, it's just in my opinion i prefer those classics and 90's era sports cars to be restored to their stock former glory and maybe tastefully modded. That's just me though,

Six cylinder's will always be the only thing that belongs in Z's to me. V8's can be cool, but an RB would have been cooler. His cosmetic modifications are pretty ugly too. I'm surprised it's only 4,500$, i've seen Z's that don't even run for about that much, it's crazy.

I think its pretty cool that he did that. Thats alot of power and the car is really light. So its perfect for the drag strip. I wouldnt do it personally because it would be a little weird going down the street in a Z that sounds like a camaro but thats the diference btween a project car made for the strip then a car built for the street. I presonally want 1 of those only because my wife wants 1 really bad. but here in vegas its hard to find 1 in good shape

I agree with strawberry, this guy wants way too much.
But yes doing strange things to cars is fun. My mom drives a 450 hp FWD Saab convertible. lololol I imagine that Z picks up and goes like hell

V8's don't belong in an s30.....
Because it turns it into one of the most bad ass tire shredding machines ever! The SBC weighs the same if not less than the stock l24/26/28. And since its a v8 it sits further towards the center of the chassis making for a better weight distribution.
Quit being such a fan boy and give in to 'muricah

Same goes for a VH45DE swap in a 300ZX. It just makes the car better...

I wouldnt say the Z is a cornering machine. I can see why he did it, a light weight car paired with a v8 which easier and cheaper to build. As long as he kicked ass on the strip, id say he was repping the Z pretty well Maybe he like the Z and maybe he liked the drag strip, i'm not gonna say the owner ruined the car. The car served a purpose and thats all that matters, its not like he riced or donked it out.
