and i love them for it haha. but the thing is, f5 already said they wont have the porsches again so we will have to see :/ maybe they can just add like 40 RUFs instead...

Although pretty much eveyr porsche in the game has a ruf variant. no joke. they actual make the caymen look decent in my opinon.

RUFs handle nicely. At least RUF didn't follow Porsche to EA.

This is a little thing I found about RUF in games:
In racing video games, due to difficulties in obtaining a license to the Porsche brand, Ruf is a popular substitute, as their cars' exterior structures remain similar but with altered engine specifications.

Gran Turismo series, a well-known exclusive franchise for Sony platforms, utilise Ruf as a "substitute" for Porsche, as the creators were unable to acquire the rights to the Porsche brand. When Turn 10 Studios lost the rights to Porsche following Forza Motorsport 3, Ruf was then included in Forza Motorsport 4. Another download pack featured 3 other Ruf cars, whereas the original game only contained one. Project Gotham Racing 3 obtained the Ruf license when Bizarre Creations lost the rights to Porsche. Test Drive Unlimited 2 is another modern racing game including 4 Ruf car models. The Ruf brand can also be seen in Gameloft's Asphalt series. In Driver: San Francisco, the player is able to drive the following Ruf cars: Ruf CTR 3, Ruf CTR Yellow Bird, Ruf RK Coupe, Ruf RK Spyder and Ruf Rt 12.[9] Most recently, Slightly Mad Studios acquired the Ruf license and will include these Ruf car models in Project CARS: Ruf CTR Yellow Bird, Ruf RGT-8, Ruf Rt 12R and the Ruf CTR3. A model Ruf RT12R is planned for iRacing.

the reason behind that is tht RUF does such intense modifications to the porsche chassis (which are unbranded and unmarked) that they are able to call it their own car. having been a porsche fanboy for some time i have really looked into the ruf branding as well.

uhm you wont hahah. there are only S class and up ones in the game. and for good reason. i guess if they ever were to put in the older ones then you might see some that are mid A. most have 400+ hp even back in the 80s but there are some that came with 300-360 which would make them mid A given their other traits.

Is the 92 Escort a cheater/lb car for the mountain...? 6.4 handling 2100lbs and 6.8 accel is kind of nuts. or you can build it at 2180? and like 6.5/6.5 handling and almost 6.9 braking. it just doesnt seem fair stats wise. Or maybe no one has tried to run it because its american? either way one of you fast fast guys should run it and let me know?

It's not a cheap car nor an LB car.  I would place it in the same league (or close to) as the MX-5s and the MR-S.  It's one of those cars where you're expected to run sub-36s if you're seen driving one in a public lobby you know?

It used to be pretty overused back in early 2012, it kind of fell out of favor in the public lobbies once everyone switched to the MRS. I don't think i've ever seen anyone make anything past 4:36 with it. It's still a strong contender, you just don't see a lot of them.

Eh yeah i guess. Idk just seems OP on a stat sheet. You mentioned 36s in early 2012. Compare that to now it should be much faster. If Kraze hit a 36.5 in a 300zx then that cossy thats 700lbs less with more handling and all that jazz should be like idk 3? seconds faster at kraze's pace? At least? If not then more.

The Escort was easy to pickup and use, quite a few people could do 36s easily. But getting it much beyond that is pretty hard.

It works the same way with AWD in uphill, Easy at first, but when your shooting for the top times, It gets pretty hard.
