| From the sound of that guy's post that thing is practically a show car. No rust, perfect interior, long history, 106K miles, it's pretty much perfect. Too bad it's got the boxy hatch style. Still, 15k is a little much, I estimate it would go for 10k over here.
Here in Texas a Turbo II FC in good condition goes for about 6k, what's it like in NZ?

Pretty sure of it. I'm the only one with that kit/wheel setup on the celica forums. Not to mention theres only 10 sets of SBC color enkei NT03s in 5x100 and the other 9 are on subaru's

| I dropped 1700 USD no tires, only reason they're rare is that if you want a custom spec wheel from Enkei, they require a minimum of 10 sets i.e. 40 wheels for them not to loose money. Before you ask no i didnt buy 40 wheels lol, I joined in on a groupbuy deal on the subaru forums to get them. | |

Before you ask no i didnt buy 40 wheels lol, I joined in on a groupbuy deal on the subaru forums to get them. That's actually really cool, knowing you have unique wheels. Your car looks great, you must have poured a lot of time and money into it. The Z needs so much work done to it, I think it was kind of dumb of me not to have a part time job lined up or something when I bought it. The most i've done is the cheap stuff, changed the spark plugs, vacuum lines, heater control valve, and heater core (Still no heat, figures.) What do you guys think I should get next on it? New tires? Fix the weatherstripping? Paint it? Honestly as it's my first car i'm kind of lost. Oh, and thanks Rotary, i'm just glad I found such a unique car for the price.

| Fix that weatherstrip! On my Z the passenger-side window would leak in water when it rained there is nothing more annoying than that IMO

You have a point, It's gotta be rainworthy. It's leaking water through the hatch, and both door windows. I'm just glad my T-tops don't leak, lol.

Fix all the necessary things first, then start modding the way you want. Tires if needed, fix the weather stripping while the car gets painted its just easier that way. Is your gen z a fun track car? if so id buy tires, coilovers, and some sways for some autoX

You're right, I should fix everything that's necessary first. The rear tires are brand new, but the fronts are pretty old. The engine is running strong and consistent. The suspenion is a little soft and well...old. When I turn the wheel I hear popping and creaking up front, that can't be good. The transmission grinds when shiftinf to second and third, I think that's my synchronizers going. It's badly rusting, you just can't see it until you get under it. Paint is peeling all over the hood, all the emblems are missing. I had my dad take it for a spin and tell me what he thought, and he said the clutch and throwout bearing felt the worst overall. He's going to get me a clutch kit for Christmas, yay. I think after the clutch i'm going to go for tires and suspension, then tackle the rusting body.
