Performance parts:Street valve
Handling upgrades:All race
Transmission:All race
Tires:Maxed width with race tyres

What would i need to be more competitive im at 499pi and also stock setup could someone give pointers and tips how to tune a ff car

Get rid of the race clutch it'll save you like 7 PI for engine upgrades. As for advice on tuning, run a low accel on your diff, something like 15% or less.

As in the upgrade not "manual w/ clutch" stay with that. Stock clutch is fine same with the flywheel.

Yeah it's not a bad place to start it's one of the most important parts of a tune setup. Since understeer and torque-steer are the biggest issues around an FF it's better to work on those first.

It's a preference but I use sport springs even though I DO know how to tune my springs, however even if you don't know how to tune you can try race springs as well with the default setup.

And i set my gear ratios to match to ur setup on the post you posted on before eg. 45mph first gear

If you want to sure it works great for me but different engines have different power/torque bands so it's not going to be the "optimum" gear ratio, still a good ratio though.

Start out with whatever car you want. FWDs are generally easier to drive but a lot harder to make them competitively fast. The most important thing is practice.
