Long beach free track add-on for FM5!!!

Well, this is the new free addon for FM5. It also comes with 5 new cars, but those are only free for users with the car pass.

Lol it wasn't Nurburgring? Still Long Beach has been a largely requested track for a while for drifting, old school F1 races, GT2 racing, and Indy.

Yep, it sure has. I am going to enjoy racing and drifting on it, not to mention it hasn't been in any past forza game. I just wish it was the ring, I am fed up of having to play either FM4, or drive it in a PC game. I want to be able to race the ring in FM5, I want to drift it in FM5 with my favourite cars, I want to touge race on it. The Ring is currently the most requested track for FM5, and T10 need to get it back in pronto. By releasing RA and now Long beach first, and claiming to be listening to the community, just makes them look like they are telling porkies; even though that is not likely the case.

Looks pretty awesome. What are the cars goin to be?

This only confirms my original thought about Forza 5, they seem to be going for 100% realism with all these "laser scanned" tracks etc. I highly doubt we will see any tracks that are not real and laser scanned

For anyone having trouble getting the update for Long Beach, try this as it worked for me.

Turn the Xbox One's "Instant On" mode on.
Turn on "auto download"
Turn the Xbox one off.
Leave for a minimum of 10 minutes
Turn the Xbox one back on, the update should now be installing.
Wait for it to finish downloading, do not play any games, open any apps or anything.
Enjoy.

For some reason Xbox live have cocked up the delivery for this Forza update, but this does work; and I was having some fun on Long Beach last night. I will post up a video of the track shortly in my video thread, it will be a fast lap in a stock E30 M3.

^ I had this problem but I sorted it the track is really fun! I layed down a pretty mean time down with my 86 and nsx

Unfortunately I have to go after someone in B class on Spa before I can really settle into Long Beach properly, he sent me a bragging message saying he beat my time on the B class LB for that track.

p.s I suspect he took advantage of the second corners poor dirty lap placement, where as my lap is within the confines of the actual track limits.

I can do it, but I would have to use the same cheap ass line as him; I get to the last corner and rewind. I just cant take a cheaty line like that.

Long Beach Indycar race is this weekend, would be interesting to see if the lap times match in FM5.

Track is gorgeous, awesome in C-class with the BRZ :-)
