| Thinkin bout plastidippin my car matte black. Can i still use a car wash with that stuff? The shop im going to have it done also said the surface would feel sort of like rubber a little? Sounds kinda weird to me honestly | |

| Like a smooth rubber, check out your nearest department store to see if they have any aerosol cans so you can play with to get a first hand experience. You can also check out dipyourcar.com and their youtube channel, they're the guys who pioneered plastidipping cars. You can use the same car wash stuff along as you don't apply straight wax. The wax+soap mixtures are okay to use. | |

i'd say anywhere between 400-600 dollars depending on the color. He's got a convertible. Thanks for the info Koolaid, I'll relay the info to him. I've been trying to get him to put some love into that car and fix some things so it can look extra good again. | |
