2. The race will be a 6 lap race, the first lap will have a pacer car and the last 5 laps will be the official race.

We will have 1 lap with collisions off to get the starting ladder. Then we will have 1 paced lap and 10 official laps.

| Thanks, Smooth. Just a heads up though. I may be forced to DNF because of potential connection issues with German and UK Xboxes, mainly when I try to connect to a game with Knight or Bukkaz in it. | |

| All 16 spots have been filled but we still have reserve spots open, let's see those cars! Finally broke the minute barrier after a ton of tuning. | |

| Bad news from me: I have to withdraw from this event after finding out that my parents had the pleasure of selling off my TV set while I was at college. Obviously I'm not gonna buy another one so I will just have to wait until I return to my dorm in January to play with you guys again. | |

| No it's nothing like that my parents had good reasons to. I don't live there anymore and I'm away 9 months a year it's not like there's anyone else at my house who would watch my TV for me. | |

| It was a joke, but I could see that. Why not just buy a smaller TV and haul it around? Something like a 10 to a 20 inch.
this sounds stupid now that I look back

| I have a 40 inch flat screen waiting for me back at Georgia. I'm patient enough to sit through the rest of my vacation without playing. | |

| I'm withdrawing from the competiton. It's a fucking joke that you force no TCS or STM but allow racing line. Wanting a clean race isn't an excuse, everyone has plenty of time to practice, and even with line they're just as likely to crash due to somebody's braking. And IARLYN or w/e your name is, dont get all butt hurt just because I made a valid suggestion. Just because you cant race without a line you got all pissed when I suggested we force it off. Get over it, bro. Clearly the host of this competition hasn't thought through his reasoning. | |

| Well imo if someone goes into the back of the guy in front because they broke to early or whatever then its the guy in the backs fault for not taking it into consideration, as for driving aids being on or off nearly everyone here races without tcs and stm because it makes you faster but I dont blame smooth for putting the racing line on because its a really unfamiliar track to some and without the line being on it would take ages for people to find the correct one, I supose it just makes people that dont race on that track much stay competitive for the event. And whats this about having plenty of time to practice? You have had plenty of time to practice yourself havnt you? | |

| I have been practicing, and found the right lines (Mostly) without even having the line ever turned on. I ran a 1:00.2 in my 1st gen miata. So yes, i would be fairly competitive if I decided to actually compete. Unfortunately I disagree with the rule set for the race, and I'm clearly having a difference of opinion with several of the other drivers. Therefore, rather than creating a big drama about it, I will just gracefully resign from the competition. =] | |

Don't understand why its that big of a difference, even so, I don't think its something to no race for. And its something so minor, racing random public lobbies I have run into situations where the host forces sim steering (I use normal), which really changes the steering and feeling of the car (Line does not). Instead of just not racing, I still race and beat them to prove that settings don't make someone fast, its the driver and skill rather. Its all just adapting to certain situations.
