Beta finally picked up another forza disc, all i have to do now is make replicas to send over to him and beta, edward and i, will get all of our judging out with in the next couple of days ;]

Yep i'm back! The disc cracked in the middle after it got so hot from playing it so much . But if we can somehow repair this maybe me and my brother could finally race at the same time.

Happened to me exactly as you say. Get some clear scotch tape and put it on along the crack on the picture side of the disc. it has been working fine for 6 months this way and my crack is about an inch long.






I never put the thin piece of tape on the shiny side and it works for me fine anyways, but use at your own risk as *some* comments say it did work but i know it works on my 1-1/2 inch crack from the center.

I tried the scotch tape trick. It worked for a while but about every 5 minutes the disc becomes unreadable. Oh well, I tried.

Looking forward to this Koolaid, let us know when you're going to be doing it.

Hmm that happens to me as well, if you turn on the menu music and wait the music will skip and then youll freeze. you need to buff the hell out of the disc and i found it works best to rub/polish the area with the crack the best. Idk it might be worth screwing around with once in a while. i know that i use to have trouble some times and it would take me literally 6 ot 7 tries to get ti to work but recently i have been buffing the cracked area and it works like a charm every time. oh well if it works it works if it dont well it dont.

Is this comp still happening? Aint heard anything of it in a while
