Have a long way to go before I can get close to my leaderboard time. Just built the Fiero today so was pretty happy with the times I was getting, but might have to try out some of the other quick cars people be runnin.

WTF!!! Just ran a 4'40"001!!!! 2 thousandths!!! Come on!! And it got dirtied by me tapping the wall right at the end!!

Actually cross that 4'39"530!! It was dirty but I did it! Got into the 39's!!!

I think I should be able to pull it off now bukkaz!! Or at least 40's. I've been limiting my wheel spin off the starting line and in the hairpin sections. Plus I get the "flick" prob 2 out of 3 times, if I get it perfect I can 4 wheel drift from the entrance of that corner all the way to the entrance of the double-apex corner.

What car was that in?^

My Z, I've gotten alittle better in my 86 too I'm running pretty consistent 42-43's with it. I just had to tune the brakes and gearing to be more like my Z so it didnt feel as awkward.

^It's a good habit to use the same gearing or close to it in every car you drive that way you get your shift points right no matter which car you use. For instance, I use the same gear ratio from my C class cars all the way to my A class ones.

Congratz on hitting 39! Now the problem becomes getting it clean

I train for touge by balancing a cup of water on my controller while I play ;D lol jk. But no lie several of my fastest A class LB times I had music from initial d playing...DONT STOP THE MOOOOOOZIK

Just got a 4:39:267 clean in my 86 coupe

Got a clean 4:39 in a BMW 2002 earlier, have a whole handful of cars running clean low 40's, still working on building a few others but finally getting a feel for how to tune for touge. A few of the new cars I've been working on are a BMW 2002 Turbo, Chevrolet Corvair, Ford RS1800, and of course my Pontiac Fiero.

Geez, my best time is like a low 5:00.
