I just watched Attack on Titan S1E. All I can say is holy shit.

I plan to. AoT is insane, and the TV show leaves me wanting to watch/read more.

Meh I think it's a bit overrated, it's good no doubt but the cult following that hail it as anime Jesus really gets old fast.

Has anyone watched the Netflix exclusive Knights of Sidonia?

I've been meaning to watch it. Heard nothing but good things about it.

Yeah as much as i love AoT and sure it was probably the most hyped show to drop in 2013, it isn't exactly the jesus of anime lol.
Same goes for Kill la Kill.

I've taken a break from trying to keep up with the current airing shows over the past six months to catch up on series finished and airing that are 40+ episodes each.
I'm currently on episode 155 of fairy tail, the last arc i watched wasn't the best but from what i hear, the last arc of season 1 flows right in to season 2 and is the most juicy arc yet.

I've talked to kraze and mugen about it but i've caught up on Yawamushi Pedal which is like the Initial D of road racing with bicycles with tofu being the equivalent of anime otaku-ness lol.
I won't spoil anything but there are a handful of things that will remind you of moments from Initial D XD.
Its a good shounen sports anime if you're looking to change up what youre currently watching.

We got parodies of Initial D with trains and bikes. What's next, boats?

I said its comparable but in no way shape or form is it ripping straight out of Initial D.

It has an anime lol but it's not my cup of tea.

Thanks to an unusually high sensitivity to coffee, I pulled an all night Fairy Tail binge.  I love the show so far, and I'm on episode 31.

Favorite moment: Natsu goes full power in the Phantom battle finale.  I also lost it when Juvie fell in love with Grey during their fight.

Edit: I watched Season 1 (only season?) of Kill la Kill, and it seems very perverted...Yet that seems somehow appropriate with the 'clothing is evil and murderous' backdrop. I like how the characters are a bit wacky.
I also recommend Knights of Sidonia. Never seen a 3D anime before, and it has SPACE. Kidding aside, it's a great show with a serious backstory.

Well from what I've seen from Oreimo it IS genuinely funny and entertaining for the most part, it's just the incest that causes controversy, a valid reason though.

I just finished episode 135 of HxH 2011. Jeez, that was a surprising end to the Chimera Ant King.

So how's HxH? I've heard the modern adaptation (2011-now) is probably one of the best shounen animes out there.

It really is, dude. I frigging love the anime.

Not to say there are characters I either hate or are terrified of.

I've only heard nothing but good things about HxH.
I'm only watching a limited amount now due to my time frame.
Currently i'm keeping up with SAO S2, Fairy Tail, RWBY S2, and just got to episode 29 of Ace of the Diamond.
Im planning on finishing the last 12 episodes on Space Brothers and can't wait for Yawamushi Pedal to start back up this october.
