| Yeah thats some good piece of advice for training awareness of your sorrounding are in cockpit.
I did that a few times as well and it helps a lot
Apart from that you could have an eye on the distance meter on the top right. Anything below about 25ft is directly next to you. The lower it is the more probable it is that its your left or right side

| Yeah. It has a dark side though as well as it constantly shows up. That used to pressure me tremendously back when i started. Meanwhile im able to ignore the figures and focus on the driving | |

| I have another training method i was using before that I want to use again that might help me cause last time I used it i got 4:40(rest of numbers forgotten) and if i use it again I might be able to train myself better than normal like you guys did after so long in my absence i came back for a second chance to be accepted from others have a better attitude and make more friends... so far it has come to a rough start and I've acted like a big time asshole but I want to set things right and start all over again... anyways this method is simple i have to drive an A class tuned 86 as fast as possible down the NDH and if i get a good time like 4:40 or lower i have to drive the same way with my B class 86 and it makes it seem easier to drive the B class 86 the same way I drove my A class 86 and when it's all said and done you'll be faster than you'll realize... i know you guys are probably gonna say "that's a really stupid training method or that A class cars can't drive touge as good on the downhill" but no matter what i think it's a good training method | |

| That seems pretty similar to what people were saying before, to drive a stupidly overpowered rwd car and try to control it. | |

| Yes, I suggested on like page 1 of this thread that you drive the hennesey; as it is a pain in the ass without driver aids to keep rear wheel traction. It helps you get better with throttle control. | |

You may have suggested it but Mitch has said, and I quote "driving another car would be pointless"

| I used to train myself by driving round the whole mountain without making my controller vibrate once | |

| I see bukkaz and that's pretty cool i might try that when I can and yeah I said that because each car handles differently if you drive another car the it's handling abilities are new and you really can't use the technique from it in your own car unless it handles as good as the other car | |

| Each car requires a different technique when driven, even if it's only a minor difference, drive a few cars and figure out what you need to do differently in your driving style to make the car go fast and soon enough you will find a better driving style for your 86, and you will start doing things differently in your braking, throttle movements and a different line and you will become faster | |

| Ay-yi-yi...If you actually stopped to listen to half of what these guys are saying, you'd be finding cars better than an 86 or even finding new lines for your 86.
This is getting a bit pathetic, really.

| This is why people don't like you mitch, you don't listen to advice much and you blame the car for your mistakes all the time | |

| Maji of bacon i dont drive uphill not really interested in it that much and guys i have driven other cars before I just don't like to do it unless its absolutely necessary and this time it's not it's just my skills are kind of lacking but also im having a hard time turning in now thanks to understeer and I know what i have to do now to get the fastest exit at full grip but I need to figure out why my car is under steering it's either I'm hitting the wrong entrance lines or i did something to the car that I shouldn't have and I need to work on my acceleration cause when I try to half throttle it when cornering before going full throttle at the exit I'm going a tad bit slower and either hit the wall or get hit by the driver behind me | |

| You understeer because you overspeed just about every corner while trying to catch up to me. Seriously go try building an aw11 or Miata or something. | |

| I really hope that isn't what has happened. I used that tune yesterday for a quick run down the ndh, and everything from the gearing, suspension, tires, the whole lot; it was just glued to the virtual tarmac. I would have to rag the bollocks off it to drift that thing, plus pull on the handbrake a ton, just to get it to brake traction. | |
