The real winner is clearly the one who won, think about it (Todo school or whatever) the guy had takumi beat but his instincts stirred him down the wrong path, same as shinji, takumi lost control and he didnt know how to get past him so he didnt. CASE CLOSED HOMIE.

| Trust me guys, we knew by a long shot that no matter what happened we wouldn't have been satisfied by the ending of this race.
Consider the following: Last time Tak's engine blew he spun out and ended up going backwards towards the guardrail. Any other person would have froze up like he did the first time, but this time, he reacted, and WAY faster than Shinji who remained shocked.
Yeah maybe he couldn't have passed him but did he REALLY have to go into a spin to avoid Tak? He could have hit the brakes and drove around him.
When it came to the purest form of competition, instinct, Takumi came out on top, thanks to his experience in Project D, something that Shinji can acquire if he decides to love racing and go down the path Takumi did.

| Spoilers guys... - Spoiler:
Can't really complain about shinji, considering he used his non braking, ramming into takumi move earlier in the race.
Compared to most, shinji is amazing, compared to Takumi, he is very inexperienced.
If someone did that in Forza, they would kicked out and hated by all lol

I dont think he actually ment to hit him when he overtook its just one of them things that happens in extremely tough close races and you do what you can to get ahead and he only uses non braking on a few corners that dont need braking for. I would say he is as good as takumi. People say he is like takumi in first stage but shinji is faster than that, first stage takumi would get owned by fifth stage takumi and shinji didnt get owned, he scared the hell outta takumi on how fast he was and made takumi look like a joke. One thing is for sure though... it was one hell of a race maybe one of the best races in initial d history anf I cant wait for it to be animated!!

| ^^ you forget thats shinjis home course. takumi was just just like that on his home course also. remember he said as long as its akina he cant lose. so he went with project d to go and race other places. so if they were on akina shinji wouldnt stand a chance at all | |

In a public lobby some guy said he would do that to me (give me a nudge in my supra to set up a pass) and he just kept bragging about how he did it 2 felon a lot. Sounded like he was out 2 get me. Have any of you been nudge in an official and got passed bc of it???
