| Just a thought that does not particularly relate to this thread, but during a run that we know is going to be made into a movie for youtube, we should have several members in their car park in the lookout spot, make a cool scene with two cars drifting by, and I've noticed we almost all slide the cars to some degree around that corner to set up for the ridiculously slow left hander that comes next. | |

| ^ Yeah, Tab parked there for mine and ROCKMAN's last run. It does indeed look pretty cool, although neither of us slide the car on that corner. | |

The only corner you can clear quickly with a slide is the high speed right-left-right after the long straight. Even that is the domain of the superhuman.
I suppose the hairpins too, since I use the handbrake to pivot the car if I'm taking a tight line. This technique got me all the 39's in the Lexus, but in a more compact car I don't think it's as necessary.

| "the domain of the superhuman" I consider you part of that, tbh. I've no idea how you can manage it.
Granted the Lexus is heavy, but I brake a little going up the hill, then as I near the wall I change down into third while left foot braking to stabilise the car. I brake again for the next two corners as well.
Either the car isn't set up well enough, or it's just not possible in a heavy ass car.
