Also: Track layout reminds me a bit of Fuji Speedway and HSR.

I'm recording a replay, and I noticed the 2J's engine sound is a bit different than on 1.08...I just might be hallucinating, though.

BIG NEWS
PD announced that they have started an official partnership with the FIA. If you don't know what the FIA is, they govern the regulations of most circuit racing motorsports around the world especially Europe and that includes Formula 1. They announced that GT6 will be the first ever videogame to host an official FIA certified Championship online in 2015. This is probably due to the success of Lucas Ordoñez and the other GT Academy graduates.

I'd get to practicing on GT6 as soon as possible. There might be a thing as "professional sim racer" in the works soon.

Wow, that's pretty amazing! It's great to see GT6 have some serious championship racing going on. Hopefully this spreads over to other simulators, like Forza 5 or iRacing.

UPDATE 1.10 RELEASED TODAY.

Details:
Nissan and Aston Martin VGTs released
Brake calipers can now be painted.
More cars made compatiable with driver numbers, and additional base sheets designs to choose from.
Engine brake reduction disabled for certain Formula cars.

The white panel behind the number can be changed now and more fonts for the numbers can be used.

1.12 imminent. New circuit, and from what I've seen leaked, it has very technical sections and two long straights.

It looks very much like the Isle of Man, and it's way more than 2 straights too it looks like 90% high speed sections and 10% medium speed. Not sure how much fun it would be but it's certainly a nice addition.

I saw a blurry photo, but it's called Circuito de la Sierra.

New Track: Circuito De La Sierra (Longest GT track ever, outside of SSRX.
New Special Event: Sierra Time Rally (Three events, each rewards well)

New Multiplayer Mode: Quick Match.
You basically pick a group of cars, pick a car out of the group and race up to 15 other players.

Jesus, only 30 bucks? GT6 degraded in price really fast.

I just had some really good practice with Shark in his 430pp AE86. I'm quite surprised-My MX-Crossport (CX7 preproduction) was faster in the bends.

So the SRT Vision GTs just released and I was looking at the Tomahawk X (2586 HP, 749 KG, 962 PP) seasonal event on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and...

I got the event done with a 4:33.1?? i am so done with that event

Had a lot of issues with housing, all good now. Plus been taking a break from GT6. Damn, hats off to you, the damn thing is too twitchy for me!

You really have to baby it around the track if you're not made of steel.

I almost scared myself with my gold run because I tore through Fuchsröhre and Adenauer Forst at 150-190 MPH before the tighter left-right.

Yeah man, I watched the world number 1, 3:15 or something ridiculous like that, he didn't hold up once!
