| I have finally recieved an RX-7 Spirit R and now i will begin matching my regular fd. Even tho i havent yet did a full run due to re-tuning, i already im running 1-2 seconds behind really just 1 so im back at running to 3:34.000s but this time its with my spirit r and with no forza aero. My regular fd which most of you guys have seen already is running 4:33.000s with forza aero so im not that far apart from it but we all know a second is still a good distance to make up, match, or pass. What ive notice so far is that my handling with the spirit r is the same as the regular but not as sharp as on the hard turn in corners, but also keep in mind of the specs: regular fd - 323hp 243lb/tq 2,571lb and the spirit r - 313hp 246lb-tq 2,503lb. So basically they are the same balance wise but the accerleration is better on the regular fd but the spirit r being lighter can still keep up just fine right now my only problem is the handling and keeping the momentum up. So guys my real training begins now! Wish me luck my goal is still brealing into the 4:20.000s club in A Class | |

| Update* i have finally ran a 4:33.000 in my spirit R but get this, i had to de-tune my spirit r from 313hp 246lb/tq 2,503lb to 294hp 243lb/tq 2,241lb? Not positive on my spirit r's weight but it ran a 4:33.000s and kept up with my regular rx7 perfectly even on the straight aways i thought my regular fd would be faster bit nope they were dead even actually my spirit r stayed ahead of it by a car even tho they are the same balanced wise still, i am still mind blown with this spirit r | |

Well yeah horsepower doesn't matter it's ALL about the power-to-weight ratio. My Spirit R has 300hp and weighs 2290 lbs. I'm surprised you weren't running race weight reduction this entire time... | |
