| I have adjusted to the new speed if my rx7 i did not retune it but accepted the new driving style and im proud to say i am back to myself again. Tho the time was dirty i managed to run a 4:32.000 i shaved off another second. My main goal is to break into the 4:20s with my FD. It will be a long journey but im positive i can do with more practice, thanks to all those for your help and positive tips and encuragement, nothing better then help from the touge union members as well as touge friends thank you , and also to give this thread more meaning and something to discuss about, do any of you guys feel that you have your very own "Fujiwara Zone" i mean we all have our own zone obviously but i mean that one zone where you believe that you and the car become in sync and can see ahead of the corners/road and know what will happen/expect before you actually do it? Sorry if my sentence placement is a bit choppy and hard to understand | |

| When I lag I start to teleport... does that count? lol
Well I can't call it a "zone" but after running Kaido for so long I tend to think less and less about what I'm doing and just drive. My times are usually consistent because I drive by habit, unconsciously braking at the correct braking points, turning in at the correct time, not too late not too early, controlling the throttle and keeping tire slippage to an absolute minimum. There is no real way to get centimeters close to a guardrail by thinking about it, you just do it.
Once you get past the point where you're learning the best lines around Kaido and simply try to wring out the maximum potential of the car, driving sort of becomes instinctual I guess... | |

| I understand what your saying kraze and i agree with you on the thinking less and less and just driving, thats how i am at times i think the only difference is i think my zone (if you can call it that) is my braking. Its like im slowing down but my motentum is not decrease its just constant and then it picks up when i accerlate out of the corner idk but its hard to describe really | |

| Btw the last time I saw your FD it was almost scraping the ground from how low it was! I know it's your tune but I have an FD that's quick too but it's sky high with a stock suspension. From experience even a Sport suspension should handle better on the FD. Have you tried other suspension setups? | |

| yea i feel like certain cars overcome the rhythm changes better on fujimi which makes it seems like the fujiwara zone is in effect like beta after the hairpins hes gone that acceleration is bonkers or when kona hits the first tunnel hes all tire marks and smoke then hes gone etc | |
