Datsun is written on the steering wheels center cap. But Datsun/Nissan is potato potahto.

SUnny's have a pretty large following. They have their own racing league in japan.

1983-84 was the year datsun and nissan became one, the late model 83 Z31s still had datsun badges while early model 84s carried a nissan badge.

$900 is very under-priced for a restored S30. I got my orange 240 for $1200(& it still needs a lot of TLC), only because I knew the guy well & he needed the money bad at that moment.. & he already had 2 other 240z's with no room to keep this one. He had it up on on craigslist for $5k before I bought it.

That's about accurate for a fully restored S30 with no rust. & If it happens to be a restored Series 1 240z, You'll be looking at at least 30k to start, which is coming into Hakosuka territory.

Thanks man, much appreciated! If you do happen to try & buy a Datsun, make sure you look for it way down South or on the West Coast. Just about everything you find out East will have rust!

Yeah for the most part good luck trying ot find stuff up here without rust. Its possible but not as easy as it is in other areas.

Sadly, even Z's in the south usually have rust problems...it must be really tough to find a good one near the coast.

unfortunately, i was driving the other night and spun a rod bearing, cylinder 6, havent ripped the block apart yet but i know its gonna be nothing good to come of it! decided to part everything out and go LS1 (: anybody need rb parts (cough strawberry) kinda sad but its the fall time and if i get everything sold i should have a v8 s13 by the end of march somewhere around there!!

Depends on the price, but i'm definitely interested. I'm not really sure what's going to be salvageable off of it though.

He had the car at 2500 and suddenly dropped it to 1600 because he "needs it gone"
I know the car is auto but for 1600, the body itself (not the bumpers or mirrors) and the interior look to be in good condition and i wouldnt mind using it as a base for a project.
i was planning to part the celica out before december, and if i go this route to pick it up, i may find me a beater honda for under 2k for a daily

buuuut the other side of me wants a solid car i can drive until i can get my big boy job.

Looks great for 1600$, you should test drive it first though. There might be a reason the price is so low.
