| Obelisk, there are no Nissan 240Z's. Datsun is the name they sell under in America. | |

I wasn't too sure to be honest...Which reminds me. Whar would the Nissan counterpart be to the Datsun B210?

| SUnny's have a pretty large following. They have their own racing league in japan. | |

| 1983-84 was the year datsun and nissan became one, the late model 83 Z31s still had datsun badges while early model 84s carried a nissan badge. | |

Thank you! I got lucky with the mileage being that low haha - StrawberryGL wrote:

S30's are the best, good luck with it. Thank you haha! It's one thing to see pics but in person they're something else - SaintedPlacebo4 wrote:
- I saw a fully restored Z on craigslist for 900 bucks. Seemed underpriced for what they showed, and claimed the car was. On the other hand if it was legit someoen go a nice nice deal because it was looking pretty clean.
$900 is very under-priced for a restored S30. I got my orange 240 for $1200(& it still needs a lot of TLC), only because I knew the guy well & he needed the money bad at that moment.. & he already had 2 other 240z's with no room to keep this one. He had it up on on craigslist for $5k before I bought it. - StrawberryGL wrote:
- Yeah, no. No fully restored 240z goes for 900$.
Try 15-20k. That's about accurate for a fully restored S30 with no rust. & If it happens to be a restored Series 1 240z, You'll be looking at at least 30k to start, which is coming into Hakosuka territory. - Obelisk wrote:
- Sick 240Z dude. Is it the Nissan or Datsun version?
Thanks man. It's the Datsun version lol. They was never a Nissan 240z, even though it actually is a Nissan - BlAcK Kn1gHt 1 wrote:

Thanks man, much appreciated! If you do happen to try & buy a Datsun, make sure you look for it way down South or on the West Coast. Just about everything you find out East will have rust!

| Sadly, even Z's in the south usually have rust problems...it must be really tough to find a good one near the coast. | |

Depends on the price, but i'm definitely interested. I'm not really sure what's going to be salvageable off of it though.

| So ive been watching this car for a while, what seems to be an S5 RX7 FC auto. http://www.vadriven.com/forums/import-asia-65/1990-mazda-rx7-476530/
He had the car at 2500 and suddenly dropped it to 1600 because he "needs it gone" I know the car is auto but for 1600, the body itself (not the bumpers or mirrors) and the interior look to be in good condition and i wouldnt mind using it as a base for a project. i was planning to part the celica out before december, and if i go this route to pick it up, i may find me a beater honda for under 2k for a daily
buuuut the other side of me wants a solid car i can drive until i can get my big boy job.

| Looks great for 1600$, you should test drive it first though. There might be a reason the price is so low. | |
