| Can't go wrong with a Lancia Beta.
I heard the AMC Pacer and Gremlin are great cars too so cool.

| I love the Gremlin! Quirky little muscle hatchback. I'll see what the nearby dealers have on offer once I get my license stuff done and about 3-5k. | |

| An older Mazda isnt an 86, 2000GT, or a Gremlin. There are older Mazdas everywhere, and im pretty sure you can find a better deal else where. | |

Miata, if you want my suggestion. Either that or an MR2/Celica. Don't go for an 86 unless you have an obsession and don't mind paying 4-8k for something that's just as good, if not worse than a first generation MR2 for 1-2k. 2000GT's are ridiculously exotic and older than even the very first 240Z's on the road, there's no way you'll pick one up on a budget or at all. FC RX7's are stupid cheap here in Texas as well.

| I'll just get what I can get.
Speaking of abundance, there are a few wealthy people around here with Ferraris. I've seen a 458 and 430 in the town lines.

Uhh, you live in the United States, the abundances of sports cars is just about the same anywhere else in the country. Older cars of coarse will be harder to find but thats how it is everywhere.
