I thought that this would be a fun competition to do. If you dont know what this race is then I suggest you watch this.
UPDATE The race will be held February 10th at 9:30 PM CST. There will be a time attack for 10 minutes held before the race that will determine pole positions.
Rules Track: Tsukuba Full circuit Laps: 10 Car: AE86 PI: A class MAX Drivetrain: Must be RWD Horsepower: <250 Required upgrades: Must have stock engine, origin body kit (not including hood vent), race weight reduction, roll cage, and race slicks. You can have forza aero in the rear but not in the front. Paint: You must have a custom paint on your car, make sure you do not use pre-existing paint schemes from a real N2 AE86.
I want this to be as close to a no contact race as possible. Accidents do happen, but you shouldn't capitalize from an accident you have caused. So if you accidentally tap somebody make sure not to pass them. I will also be trying to get somebody to spectate so they can help judge the race. If somebody feels like an accident was intentional the footage will be judged and the racer in question could be disqualified.

As inspiration or an exact copy? I was kind of hoping for everyone to make their own imaginary paint jobs. I wanted to upload this race as a video and I want to showcase all the different drivers paints. Like mine is going to be a black with gold accent 86 tuned by midnight gold. Maybe a street version 86 could work?

Oh so it wasn't an official event or anything, just kind of a spur of the moment thing.

Well the N2 86's all have a wing on the back, but a couple of them have GT wings(forza aero). It's up to you to decide if you want to use the forza aero but you must have the street wing on the back. Don't really know if any of the bodykits look like the N2 86 but i'll check on forza later.

Not sure if the bodykits are the same but I think they should be an option, the bodykits make them look like racecars

All right so it looks like we are going to run full origin bodykits on the cars, you can choose if you want the hood or not.

Unfortunately no, I am trying to make everybody's cars identical and to do this I figured that the origin bodykit looks closest to the N2 bodykit. The only option you have is if you want the origin hood or not. I may change this though as I don't thing any of the rear bumpers look like the N2 bodykit, thoughts on this?

Beta, will there be number brackets on the cars?
Yes I did want people to put random numbers on the sides of the car. List what number you are going to choose before you put it on though, we don't need everyone here having the same numbers.

Idea! I could wip up a number box, maybe replicate something from the video and what about....
Signing up and having a fake sponsorship, which then you have to put stickers or design for that sponsor. I know BNB had a comp with that.
That would be great if you could make a number box seeing as I am not the best at working with vinyl groups. Feel free to use whatever sponsor stickers you want on your car. They can be fake or real but try to make sure it works with the car. Don't use a Watanabe sticker if you are running Advan rims or something like that. Just make sure that the car is not identical to a real N2 86.

Ok I'll make one
With the sponsor thing I meant, let say I pick "Touge Speed Shop" Therefore my racecar will have a paintjob themed with that, like if someone picked falken tires they could use the typical falken tire paint. Like each car has 1 major sponsorship?

Yeah a couple of major sponsors would be fine. Just make sure that if fits with whatever is on your car. Like you could say you have TRD suspension, Recaro seats, Momo steering wheel, Eneki rims, it doesn't really matter and you don't even need to list it on the forum. Just make sure you only pick a few, that way you don't have every sponsor sticker under the sun on your car .
