| I've only read the manga never seen the anime (except of course from what I've seen on the Internet). The manga started off strong and interesting but it got a bit too confusing and lackluster after 40ish chapters (to me at least). Which is why I haven't felt a strong urge to watch it but from the animations and fight scenes it does look tempting. | |

Rumors have it now that it will come out in 2015 after enough content from the manga is released.

| It'll most likely happen because it's too popular for it not to happen. I was really into it when I first started watching but near the end it got kind of stale. The manga is worth reading but it's definitely not one of my favorites.
Right now i'm trying to get into Gundam because I just realized my two favorite shows are both mecha so I might really like it. Just finished MS Gundam 0079 and started Zeta Gundam. I'm not really used to watching 50 episode series so it feels like they drag on for too long but they're both pretty good so far.

| Thats typically how the gundam series are. I see that you're starting at the veeeeery beginning on the UC time line. I've told myself over and over again that i would watch all of the UC series from the beginning but theres so many series with 50 episodes its kind of hard.
I've always kept to the other time lines because most of them are under 100 episodes and i've been keeping up with Gundam Unicorn for the past couple years which drops an episode once every 7-10 months and which are an hour and a half long. Unicorn is the latest animated gundam series of the UC timeline thats still being release while the manga was written 8 years ago.
Its pretty crazy thats how most of the UC series are like that.
If you need any mecha recommendations hit me up yo!

| Just do it, the first gundam was fun to watch even though its old as hell and it feels like they want to sell you toys all the time. You could watch trough the movies instead of the whole series, I'd actually recommend that since they cut a lot of stupid stuff.
Gonna watch gunbuster and diebuster soon too.

| It's funny that my first introduction to anime was G-Gundam back when it aired on Toonami in the early 2000s. Ironic that it was a spinoff series though, I even bought some figures when I went to the Japan section of Epcot/Disney. Ahh good times... | |

| I wouldn't say its a spin off, its just part of a different timeline just like Gundam Wing, 00, Seed, and AGE. Given the world of mobile suits, space and the huge fan base, tho it may have been a spin off when they first decided to use an alternate timeline, it has grown to the point where there are many people ,like myself, have become gundam otakus without watching or reading the original UC series. I mean i know most of the character bios and basic premises thats going on with in it but i still haven't watched it. You also have to think about the time of technology when it was released For example, Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 which was written and animated in 1979 To meet the expectations of satisfying the the younger generation as well as the middle aged fans the alternate timelines were created. Seriously Kraze, finish Bakuman, i love how i learned so much about manga and anime just thru that series haha. I've got Mugen Sk addicted to it hahaha. Strawberry has you looked in to watching Gundam Build fighters? its pretty much like a typical battle game genre with out the cheesiness mixed with gundam model kits. I love how i get to see mobile suits from different eras and timelines to duke it out, seeing re animated gundam which current animations, and custom built gun dams that we all know too well heres a couple that won't spoil anything, Red Wing Gundam Wing Gundam Finice | |

| Hell yes, there's a reason it's plastered all over my cars. Oh man i'm remembering Kittan's giga drill again and that entire last couple episodes. I'm definitely watching it all over again once i've got Getter, Die/gunbuster, Ideon and most of the Gundam series done.

Toradora was good, can't say i'd go back and watch it again tho. I'm back to watching Fairy Tail again and stopped at 72 like 6 months ago. Started at 70 and didnt stop until 96 lol. Probably going the finish up the last 80 episodes with in the next month. Thinkn about starting up Gundam Double X and finish up Mejestic prince. Thoughts on the latest episode of Kill la Kill??
