| TUNES & REPLAYS ON MY STOREFRONT Gamertag: il KraZe liReal Name: Kermell R. Huertas Real Cars: 1990 Nissan 300ZX Z32 (project car) + 2015 Ford Fiesta ST (daily driver) Location: San Juan, PR Personal Record: 10-2Title: TBN Touge Wars I ChampionTeam: STREETVERSION (Co-Leader) About me:- Spoiler:
Like a lot of people I started with Gran Turismo 3 and Need for Speed games on the PS2. On the Xbox 360, I used to fool around in FM2 but it wasn't 'till FM3 that I started driving more competitively. After leaving competitive gaming in Halo 3 I started racing in a monthly R3-class tournament with people from a sim-racing club which hosted the events on their website. After the tournament ended, I became interested in drifting since that was the main scene at the time (sort of still is too). I learned how to drift using a Microsoft Wireless wheel that I still have today! However, as of January 2013 I use a Fanatec CSR wheel that I got for Christmas. Initially, drifting was a challenge but after getting used to it, it was anything but. I would tune my own cars and drift just about anything RWD (my favorite car was a 1979 Chevy Camaro ). After finding drifting easy I slowly became bored of the sport since the only way to truly enjoy drifting is by tandeming with other people (preferably your friends &/or teammates). Needless to say I knew of no one who could drift properly or keep up with me (my style could have been described as full-throttle lol) and the FM3 matchmaking lobbies would rarely pair me up with experienced drifters. Fast-foward through an R1-class phase that I had, I became interested in touge racing because a) Initial D, and b) Initial D. I refused at the time to fully-tune my cars and by that I mean running slick tires, race-weight reduction, Forza aero and race-engine parts (that last one was a bit weird but oh well...) I posted a very detailed thread on the FM3 forums around 2010 and received several dozen replies. I was surprised that there were actually rules that had been established by members of the then famous drift team, Team Blackjack. I received challenges from people about a week later including a memorable challenge from BLKJ GHOSTFACE. Sadly, the touge scene could only exist in private lobbies since the Matchmaking lobbies did not host grip races on Fujimi Kaido (and when it did nobody would be online ). Since all my touge cars (over 30 cars) were all B500 I would race in the B-class circuit matches online which were... terrible. The AWD cars were the equivalent of FM4's Lotus Elises. The fact that I would have to resort to an AWD when faced with other AWD cars (which was about every race ) got me frustrated with FM3's online community. Eventually I returned to drifting and stayed there. Finally, FM4 came out. It returned the glorious public lobbies that made FM2 so awesome. The best thing, P2P public lobbies on Fujimi Kaido! Even better, the AWDs had been dumbed down and were no longer dominant (but are still competitive in A-class which is perfect!). I would practice both the New Hillclimb and the New Downhill as often as I could (I always preferred the New over the Old). I did not tune my cars (my tunes in FM3 were mediocre at best) so I would run as fast as possible without modifying the tune setup. I eventually came across the Jiten Speed Team (JST) and their member JST Rune. He and I did numerous friendly matches with each other (one of which was uploaded to YouTube by JST Grave, check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSbCZOWKheE). It was during some online lobbies that I came across IRT FuzzyBear, SLP Felon and Wilson x. I did not at the moment know who was Garage K (garK) but one of my friends who was in the lobby with me explained to me that Garage K was one of the fastest touge team in FM4. The first three races were on the New Downhill. All three races were close and in every race I broke my previous record (My record was 4:38). By the last race I clocked a 4:36, two seconds quicker than I ever had in my life! Fast-foward a bit and I was hanging around with another fast touge team, Touge Genesis Project (TG P). By this time I had learned to tune my own cars and was about 3 seconds faster than I was before (my tuned cars were just as fast as my default cars with forza aero). Lots of friendly races on the Old Downhill with Edward 4O hands and DaKoolaidm4n ensued. It was during this time that I received an invite from Garage K. I was very glad and proud to had become part of this amazing team comprised of people who hold records well into the Top 50 spots without driving a Lotus Elise! I have been very active in the Touge community even though I am attending college right now and I don't have much free time to play Forza anymore (but I'm ready to touge 24/7 so hit me up if you see me online). My most recent accomplishments are winning the 1st Touge Wars tournament hosted by the Touge Battle Network (06/17/2012) and entering the "31 Club" with an official New Downhill lap record of 4:31.750 (08/15/13) with my 2001 Mazdaspeed Roadster (NB8C). Sadly, the era of Garage K met its end, but all is not lost since now I am currently a member of the new and improved team Street Version (St V) composed mostly of ex-Garage K members and, hopefully, new and skillful touge racers in the future! Hope to see you around the mountain! tl;dr Roses are red Violets are blue I race the touge Prepare to lose Setup: Fanatec CSR w/ CSR Elite pedals - Spoiler:

| The new car is still a work in progress but I think I got the tune setup just right it managed a dirty 4:35.3 last night. The thing that is killing me is the inconsistency, it does low 36s from time to time which is a full second off its pace I'll keep trying though | |

| I would like to thank MiNdChArGeR and DaKoolaidm4n for providing such helpful ghosts to chase down the New Downhill these past 3 days but it was all worth it! I can say that I have reached a new level for myself today, a level I thought was impossible 6 months ago but has now become a reality for me. By unveiling the finished product of my most recent project car, I broke my previous lap record of 4:36.057 in the MR-S with my new and fully-tuned 2001 Mazdaspeed Roadster (NB8C) with a 4:35.442 However, the real record is my new unofficial lap record (made dirty due to a slight scrape on the guardrail while exiting a corner) of 4:34.458 I will try to run a clean 34 pass in the near future but for now I can say MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

| Apparently the secret to getting faster is to not play Forza for 6 months because I shattered my New Downhill A Class record with the same car and tune I guess my NSX runs high 28s now | |

| Personally I think the NA is a bit faster, I used the same exact build and tune on both cars, and was able to get the NA to have a few more HP, a few more torques, and a bit lighter. I did run 35s in the NA but wanted to focus on the NB Although I do think my NA looks sexy as hell XD | |
