Lol you will get past that time one day. You just need an opponent to make you push your limits and make you run faster. I was running a consistent 4:45 in my 86 then one night I went up against strawberry and I knew how good he was. I managed to get out in front of him and tried my very hardest just to stay in front and suddenly got a 4:42:050 in my 86. Something just came over me and I was taking every corner so fast. If I can do it you can too Smile if you like i can run behind you in my 86 and you try and stay in front Smile it helps

That is how I got into the 36's with KoolAidMan as my ghost. It REALLY helps to push you. Smile

got me a wheel the other day and will try how i get my stuff together with that on sim steering.

only thing i changed few days ago was the gear ratio i made it a bit shorter cause i had the feeling i was going bullet time out of corners some times even with the foot down Smile

hate myself though. I became curious why the LB drivers are so fanatic on that f-in Elise so i got me a setup on the storefront and slapped a clean 4:40:6 on the first run. Can't deny that bitch goes hard but now I'm somewhere in the Top 150 of New Downhill with a car I didn't want to get there in.

^that's why an LB time with a Lotus doesn't matter unless you're aiming at top 10.

some mad catz wireless thing nothing special no clutch pedal or anything just gas and brakes shift paddles and a sequential stick

too bad the choice isnt all that big for xbox since the official MS racing wheel isnt produced no more

Yeah I know right? If only Logitech made Xbox wheels too. Anyways I started out with an older version of the MadCatz wheel back in Forza 3 and it was a really awesome wheel! The clutch and H-pattern shifters of more expensive wheels are only for driving enjoyment, they won't help you get faster. A gas pedal, a brake pedal, and paddle shifters (or sequential shifter) is all you need Wink Force feedback DOES help you get faster but only a handful of wheels have that. Sad

Yeah I played GT5 on a G27 once. In a complete raceseat with 5.1 sorround and a full-hd tv right in front of my nose at friends how and i was blown away by that wheel you can steer right down to the millimeter where you want to go same thing with throttle and shift through the gears like in a high priced sports car. I didnt even want to get out of that. I'm terrible at drifting in GT 5 but with that wheel I instantly ripped apart every lobby i joined points wise xD
