| Codemasters have dropped a steamworks version of Dirt 3 on PC, which no longer has GFWL. Anyone who already owns dirt 3 via steam has been automatically given a free copy of the complete edition of Dirt 3, which includes all available DLC. You will have 2 versions of dirt 3 in your steam library now, one of which is the old GFWL version. | |

Games for windows live, a Microsoft thing from a few years back. It never took off, but it allowed pc games to have Xbox live integration. Doesn't matter anyway, Codemasters have broken Dirt 3 with this new version. It is damn near unplayable on a racing wheel, as it just slams the FFB to the right at full force. Only thing one can do is kill the FFB, but defeats the object of a decent wheel. I can still install the old version of Dirt 3, but wont have access to the DLC of the Complete edition. | |
