If it's fishtailing, retune it! The 86 is an incredibly difficult car to start off with and tune. I'd stay on the stock settings until you get to the 41s and 40s, and THEN tune the car to your driving style. Just don't fling your 86 full-throttle into hairpins or tighter bends.

dude they can help. I was just running with them and without them giving any advice I was able to gain 3.4 seconds by just pushing to try and keep up with them

See? Just ask around, people are willing to help. So keep it up, and that fishtailing shouldn't be an issue.

Trivia: If you fishtail, take your finger off the trigger or foot off the gas. That lets the car grip the road again.

I guess but I want to start tomorrow I'll have to reset the tune to default instead of just making an entire new eight six cause that will be a pain

If you need to, save your current setup to a tuning setup page so you can get to it if you want to revert.

I can give you a tip from watching your battle. Your entry speed seems to be a problem. You were sliding a lot I would suggest being a bit easier on the throttle on exit and a bit slower on entry

The 86 is not the right car to fling into a turn. You want to emphasize on the massive acceleration it has.

Yeah like that would help compared to what the z had it has more power which is why I said it was a stupid idea to try and take on that damn car

not necessarily keeping a car balanced through the corner can allow you to get on the power sooner. Balance increases traction which in turn enables you to be faster. entry and exit speeds are key but it can help to be slower on entry, slow in fast out. You're faster than me and I run a Z so the car means a very small amount

Here's why:
The Z had more power, but it was heavier so that benefit is either marginal or nonexistent.
The 86 has a fair amount of power in B class (My real life car has a similar power output to it at about 180 HP.) But your car can bench at 1800 pounds, which is a big benefit to compensate for low HP.

A good entry and exit speed makes all the difference in the world. Let's say you hit that corner that you crashed on...You hit the corner perfectly, you might have closed the gap or passed him.

Well there's no saying for certain obviously the driver is an unknown variable which could effect weather you are faster or no. You really need to learn how to maintain balance and then to adapt that to how your car handles. Some cars allow you to push sooner others make you hold off on the power until late but once you can adapt you can improve by just running the course. Don't forget course knowledge Is a key factor as well. If you run in a faster car but don't know the course your advantage decreases.

Ok now see I didn't know that cause no one has ever taught me anything about how to drive the 86 touge style that's why I want someone to teach me cause I can't teach myself whilewhile focusing on school and my art

Dude I have not had someone teach me touge but I have done a lot of circuit racing and the basics carry over but some of them apply in different ways.

Uh huh but thing is I hate circuit races (no discrimination just never liked them)
