So I have not been on forza for a while so when i got back my time on the NDH was 4:58 which is terrible so i got a new car expecting to shave a second off at most and... I DROPPED A WHOLE TEN SECONDS i went from 4:58 to 4:48 i was mind blown has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know how this could happen?

Some cars are shit, some aren't
My fastest cars are like 5 seconds quicker than my slowest ones but that's just because their limits are different. In your case though it's not that you found a car that's 10s quicker than your old one but more like you found one that's a lot more comfortable for you to drive.
Less mistakes = Quicker times

Theres that and knowing that most cars are capable of at least a 4:40. With a PB of 4:58, one corner can make the difference of a second or more. Dropping 18 seconds shouldn't be a problem, if you commit time to perfecting your tunes and driver skill. Everything faster than 4:40 is trying to push the limits of your car and skill.
