I've done some research and most of them included the disassemble of the controller Which was outta my reach. Then I looked and saw that rubbing alcohol on a q-tip should do the trick And Nail Polish Remover had some rubbing alcohol in it
Should it work?

No, nail polish wont work for that at all. It is essentially paint for the nails, and will do more to make your controller worse!

Nail polish remover may work, but you may still need to strip it down to effectively clean them.

Should look into "No Slow" controllers. Been using them for years.
