It's surprising that they have two separate developers for the 360 and XB1 versions, never heard of something like that being done before, doesn't really sound like a good idea to be honest. And the setting will be southern Europe this time, possibly Italy or southern France, a heck of a lot better than Colorado hopefully.

Titanfall was done by two different developers for the 360 and one and it turned out fine. Im just hoping they have some sort of tuning aspect in the game other than just adding parts. I still thought it was funny that the aero in Horizon 1 was labeled "adjustable" when you couldn't adjust them lol.

But i'd imagine one of the two developers will still consistently release cars and tracks for FM5

I personally hated Horizon and it sucks that we'll have to wait even longer now for Forza 6. Not buying Horizon 2 this time, the first was a waste of money for me.

They better take the weather system and f-ing nighttime racing into fm6 tho
It sure does sound like they improved lots compared to horizon 1
And that scenery parts of italy AND cote d'azur even the alps are partially included. Cant wait to go at those alpine passes at night

We can hope though that with the extra time forza 6 will be even better and more complete of a game. Yes 5 is cool but hopefully 6 won't have that rushed feel

I personally hated Horizon one, I was apprehensive about it from the day it was announced to the day it released. I never pre-ordered it, though I did buy it on day one; and I traded it in a few days later. I wasn't happy with the game at all, and even though I bought it again; that was only to actually finish the games single players stuff.
Horizon 2 on the xbox one however, I am actually excited for. I cant put my finger on it, but I just have no apprehension about it this time around like I thought I would. I am hopefuly that playground learnt from their mistakes on Horizon 1, and I am hopeful Sumo Digital will do justice to the 360 version as well. One of my close friends who hasnt been interested in an Xbox one at all, even opting to build a new pc over it which cost them a pretty penny; is also now very interested in an X1 and for only Forza Horizon 2. They also hated Horizon 1, and just like myself, he traded it in within the first 2/3 weeks. I have to be honest, I am probably going to pre-order it on Friday.

I was just about to sell my original one too, now the trade in price is going to be low.

I honestly just loved the simplicity of Horizon 1, but it was lacking in a lot of departments, including driving passes. I just hope they feature something based on the Transfagarasan highway, it looks fun.

Stelvio Pass would be cool as fuck, it's literally a euro version of Irohazaka.

Gotta check that out. I just hope that when choosing a setting like cote d'azur etc they dont ban all the classics and jdm cars from the game. I hope they give details about the car lineup soon

They finally went through with it, huh? That tuning was really needed in Horizon 1.

Even with tuning I'm certain the physics will not be like in the FM games (on purpose too) so I might sit it out again... but we'll see.

All I see are 2-lane roads that are wider than most highways. Still skeptical.

yeah it wont be perfect, but it will be enjoyable for sure. the said they're using the same handling model from 5, it will just be dumbed down I assume. so it should be the best arcade racer ever if they don't fuck it up. night time in the rain on new consoles is what im looking forward to, should be real pretty!
