Alright, so I've been wanting to do this for a while now. Some of you know my love for Lotus but unfortunately never get to drive one because the extreme hatred for being an L.B car. I thought to my self how I can use the car without it destroying the competition and pissing everyone off. So, I started to play around with a Lotus Elise seeing what I can do, starting with stock and slowly upgrading it to reach a reasonable time. I eventually got the car to do an average 39' to 38's on NDH.

So, don't be scared it you see me pull out a lotus. It's not meant to be fast, it's meant to be fun.

Hey im a little pissed about the negativity behind this car it is a joy and a half to drive, it teaches the driver just like the 86 and it should have the top spot any way because if this was not done by pi and was instead done by power to weight ratio with locked tire sizes this car would still rain SUPREME (just look at forza 3 dominated by awd till you get too the down hill)

The no aero rule was introduced to stop cars from having an unfair advantage DURING BATTLES this has nothing to do with hot laps or running LB's

It just bothers people that they take up 95% of the leaderboard and that if we were to allow them in competition they would make every car that isn't an Elise entirely un viable. A lot of people already know how strange the car feels if they've ever actually driven one, it handles completely unlike most of our cars so you have to learn how to abuse it's strengths to it's limit before it can get into the top 10.

ummm i said "front and rear aero" on a lotus smacks of lack of skill. never said if you drive one you have no skill. im sure if i hopped in a lotus with both front and rear aero and learned to exploit its strengths i would run low 30s. aaaannnd i never said anything about being the fastest in it. take it easy killa, eaaasyy

furthermore, i wasnt even talking about LB's i was talking about public lobbies when someone hops into one and it has both front and rear aero. 9 times out 10 its someone who, forgive my being blunt, "lacks skill" and ends of finishing last anyway. im sure it's not easy being the fastest in the world in a lotus but we can all agree its the easiest car to do it in. sheeesh my rant is over

yea i was in a shit mood when i wrote that i apologise but you have to understand with the amount of time and effort i have put into TU and the touge community in general such words being thrown around  at all is like a punch in the face

dont forget those people running aero lotus's are still part of OUR community and (even if you like it or not ) should be treated as such
