^yeah there's a noticeable two between gt6 and fm4 so doing good in both is difficult I'm the fastest 430pp driver in the 86 on gt6 and was the fastest 86 b500 driver on the ndh of fm4 I'll switch between the two both it's very unlikely I'll be fast again in the 86 on fm4

Tbh after I had a break from forza and started playing another game I was rusty as hell when I came back to forza but after a while I was actually faster than I was before I left

It's weird how that happens I can't really explain it either. By the time I ran a 31 my best in the 86 was a 35.3 now 1 year later I run a 34.7 in the same tune with little to no practice in comparison to before. Perhaps the secret to being fast is NOT practicing?

To my surprise I ran the 86 and got a 34.9xx clean on the ndh twice This is after roughly 6 months of gt5/6

It's not my birthday but as I look back into the milestones of my life I remembered that the ending to this video is very much relevant to how I'm feeling with the 86 right now. Â It's been 2 years already damn.

Hitting mid 34's in the 86 Finding new lines that give a more quicker speed out of the corner

^After chasing your ghost for the past week and studying you're replay, I've started to doubt if I can EVER run a 33 in the 86. Our driving styles are extremely different since you make full use of using a controller by konabraking every now and then (clutch+handbrake mid corner) which I cannot imitate with my wheel. It IS just an excuse but I just don't think my driving suits the 86 at ALL. I'll try to adapt as much as I can but it will take me minimum another month to get down to mid-low 34s at least.

I've ran a 33 without handbrake+clutch, I just let the car slide a tiny bit off the throttle while turning in

I mentioned it as an example but from Beta and Shark's replays I've seen how they approach and exit corners and their steering+throttle inputs alone are something else. If you drive any other car with the same style as you're supposed to with the 86 you'd get left behind it's pretty amazing.

Ran another high 34 with the 86 -> 4:34.959
Just noticed that I've only been able to hit 34s when using the 4AGE variants, the ones with the MR2 engine get mid to low 35s at best and I noticed why. Â Even though the 4AGZE is smoother and easier to drive in comparison to the 4AGE (and faster on paper), it's fundamentally slower. Â The reason is the purely vicious nature of the original 4AGE. Â It's engine braking ability is much stronger and it's oversteering tendencies make it much easier to position the car. Â Ironically everything I thought was a weakness before is actually a strength. Â It's hard to control BECAUSE it's fast and being able to tame it certainly reaps rewards. Â I feel I'm inching closer to consistent 34s now. Â #progress

Then I'll be too, no better way to get faster in the 86 than race against two of its best drivers.

Aww that sucks. Will consider renewing your Gold in the future? Hate seeing more and more people stoo playing because of XBL membership.
