Anyways, I'm thinking of doing a new youtube series called:
(you know what I think I exaggerated that one, you know what the title is)
(and this atleast I think should belong in the race/comps/ forum cuz it is a race...sort of..)


So simply it will be a youtube series, based on the episodes of Initial D
Now I was thinking of starting from stage 1 from the race between the fd and the 86.
And there's another problem....

About the designs and such, I would need a guy who knows how the characters cars look like.

It needs to be precise.

And I really want to make this as accurate as possible, so I will be using my fd for the fourth stage.
If you guys have a yellow spirit R with the correct decals, then lemme see it and I'll tell you.

(NOTE: THIS IS PROBABLY GONNA BE AFTER THE TOUGE BATTLE TOURNAMENT SO THERE IS TIME TO THINK)

I know people on youtube have tried doing this, like SlapTrain and stuff,
but they never got to finish it off, which really pissed me off.  

So I'm not gonna be newbie and start from where he left off, but start it again from the start.

I probably will have to put captions on instead of actual sound from the drivers, due to some copyright bullshit probably.

If I could have Tab's help too that would be awesome to create an episode.

Also, I'm going on vacation over the weekend so I won't be able to respond quickly.
Wanna try to suck out that last drop of summer break   ...  
So please I would really like your guys support on this.
This is just a thought in process, so I at the latest will be airing an episode by December.
Since school is a few days away, I won't be able to be online as much as I used to.

we could do forza horizon but I dont have a pvd recorder

It will be pretty hard though.

I've seen people do it before but never were able to finish it off.

I had some ideas that included replicating some battles, there are reasons why they don't work out. Like you said only a few really tried and didn't do the best job at it.

Basically when I tried to make it, I wanted to do Forza and Initial D justice, but when it came down, the material and limited camera angles, music restrictions as well as we only have one track plus a few more issues. There was just too much compromise to do any justice. But this is my opinion, Good luck if you have a go at it

Like in the video beta posted up, it is in GT5,
So I wanna try to do something to even the ratio.

And the track in the first stage doesn't matter much.
Since like I'll be using the NDH for first stage.
And maybe ODH for second stage.
That will atleast spare me a few episodes.
And some of the races are in akina and akagi so that will even that out.

(The 86 engine blown part could be really cool :3)

The only thing that makes the NDH like Akina are the four hairpins, everything else is not even close. That's why in the GT5 video they went for clips rather than whole battles. It makes the whole video look a lot smoother when you only have to get 1 or 2 iconic shots from a certain course rather than use the same track for every race.

As Mind and Beta say, it's nearly impossible to do Initial D justice with what we have in Forza. It's very time consuming work too, you'd have to review footage from every episode as well as cut and edit voice clips and engine sounds, set them all up in camera angles and scenes similar to the anime, and add subtitles to your Forza footage. Before all that, you need talented drivers that are able to replicate Initial D's style of drifting accurately as well, as well as a good capture card capable of recording in high quality.

It sounds like a fun project, and it's been attempted before, it's not like you can't try if you want to, but no one can seem to get it right with Forza, and it's not worth the hours needed to put it together to produce sub-par realizations of the show.

That video is cool but its not really a replica type video, they basically added some random things in, making the story line how they want but just following overall Fd vs 86 battle.

The clip of keisuke and the nsx and the clip where the 86 grew wings, I swear I almost soiled myself

You should just try it if its something you wanna do. I agree with what ppl are saying but if you wanna do it you should just go for it
