Even though you and I get along famously(lol), I have way more respect for you sticking it out in a car you love, and doing your best to get faster in the FC rather then switching to a better car to get faster times.

You would be able to challenge anyone after rank 10 But the list isn't created yet, after the competition it will be

But the list isn't created yet, after the competition it will be So you can challenge anyone rank 10 and under to enter the list? If you win, does the guy at 32 get kicked off or does the list gtow?

| The list will grow, the driver you beat moves down a rank along with everyone else. Just like the Forza leaderboards work. | |

Yes the number and box are both necessary. Only for the tournament, afterwards you don't need them.

I was thinking this would be a lot like TXR3 and TXRD2 blacklist. My 86 would be considered a wanderer

Some people may switch to the MR-S cause its they're fastest car/or the car they feel most comfortable in, the point of this ranking is to be the fastest period so why wouldn't someone drive they're fastest car. I was gonna use the mr-s bc it was my only chance for now for me to get a 34, but when it comes to getting your respect I'm pretty sure none of these people were racing for you so it shouldn't matter what car they choose Just my two cents

Well, in my case I feel most comfortable and fastest in the z432, but I drive the FC because I don't want to abandon it just because i'm a couple seconds faster in the Z. I acknowledge that it's completely irrational for someone who wants to compete and win races to purposely limit himself but it's something i'm not going to change. It's completely logical to abandon a car you're slower in for a car you're faster with. It's just that people feel cheated when someone claims to drive one car and travel on unbeaten paths and the moment things get tough they're quick to move back to well explored territory like the Elise, MRS, Z, Miata, Escort, etc. Some people say things like "I love the AE86, it's my main car in Forza." and then in a competition they pick an Escort. Afterwards they'll still be saying, "The Ae86 is my main car" even though that's really not the case. I prefer it when people are honest and stand by whatever they choose to drive without leaning on other cars to raise their rank or leaderboard time.

I understand that completely bc I'm running my FC which is a second slower than my supra (for now) but my reason for running the FC is bc shortly I'll be running one in RL. I wasn't saying its a bad thing I was just saying just bc someone is running a certain car it shouldn't matter. I know people that run mr-s's ad can't even break 4:40.***'s, that doesn't mean they can't hop in a gen 2 bc they genuinely like it and just so happen to be faster

| The MR-S used to be the car I drove, not the car I knew I was fastest in. Hell, back when I used it there were almost no other MRSs on the LB, certainly none above mine. Then when I got off Forza for 6 months I come back to see that the car is now hated on. So I decided to look for a replacement car along with MiNd. We decided on the MX-5 Gen 2 and stuck with it since December of last year. And would you look at that! The miata is now the same.
And for some reason hardly no one cared for the MX-5 when Koolaid started driving it. Plus I've seen 10 times more 240Zs in public lobbies than MR-Ss just saying.

| @Kraze to keep it real as being someone that is in two completely different racing scenes... For people off the mountain that i drag onto it that are well versed in the ways of forza ask me what to run and i always say "well people normally say no lotus's" and then they say back "i guess that means the mx5's, the mr-s, and stuff like taht too" and i go "nah they run those" and their reactions are always the same ".... they are basically the same thing". To put it blunty. In the world of forza anything below 2000lbs breaks the way PI is counted. Cars below that number are almost always the leaderboard cars in classes A and below. So really in all honesty, yes the Lotus Elise will be on average still faster than a Miata(by a hair), they essentially have the same game breaking advantage. Those cars are *all* leaderboard cars on different tracks. And the only reason you see the lotus there instead of them sometimes is because its a few fractions faster, not because those cars arent also beating the PI system. Sorry i had to vent. I tell myself just ignore it and say well its JDM so give it a pass, but you guys are talking about those cars like they are not leaderboard cars to begin with. No. They definitely are, you just might not have discovered that until much later in Forza 4... | |

| You seem to think you have a much deeper understanding of Forza than the rest of us because you race in circuit communities, but you really shouldn't write off the judgement of people who race this course more than anyone.
Of course we've thought about this before. We realize that the best cars available on this course often share similarities with the Lotus Elise. We only ban the Elise because it's without a doubt, the best touge car. There's a reason 90% of the leaderboard is filled with Elises. If it were permitted in competition you can bet that people would sign up in it and reduce the game to practicing in the Lotus Elise. We've banned the Elise to make it more interesting, even if in the end the Miatas, MR-S's, and Z's became the go to cars, at least there's a choice between those three instead of a choice of only one.
In the end, anyone can pick anything besides a Lotus Elise, and that's fine. No one should have to pick a bad car to be respected, no one should have to choose a car they don't want to drive. It's completely rational to pick something that's efficient, even if it's overused. Nothing will change that, the only thing that affects that are rules and "codes" made up by the people in the community.
