I have a lil tinsy question about the brackets. there are 13 couplets so does that mean that one driver gets a bye to round 3? 6 battles of 2... and one left over

It was the only way to get everyone who signed up able to participate so yes. But if someone can't make it to the race then that extra person will fill the spot.

How are the other participants ranked? Is there no "losing" bracket to rank those who didn't move on? Or is it just by times?
