| Well, since my other thread was closed within 2 minutes, here's another one. I just want some TIPS for tuning, not a full out FF Civic tune, but any advice that could help for Laguna Seca would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys. | |

| Try upping the tire pressure a bit. I did 32.5 front and 31.0 back tires, amd that improves traction and responsiveness--But too much makes the car prone to grip loss. Shorten the gear box a bit, preferrably between 140-150 max speed.
Also, 35-45 accel and 5 decel is good for a diff.

| Only requirements for a good time (besides mastering the course): - Spoiler:
- A short gear ratio that has your 5th or 6th gear topping out a 130mph~ish - A diff setting tight enough that eliminates torque steer (Any accel below 30 and decel below 10 should be fine). - A roll bar setting that eliminates understeer without oversteer (this requires trial and error). - You want your front and rear tires around ~35.0 psi so adjust until they reach that mark AFTER being heated up (the pressure remains somewhat constant after 3 laps). - Notice how I didn't mention anything about the suspension or brakes...
But IMO me just telling you this takes the fun away from having people prep for the race. P.S. I don't really know how to tune FWDs either so ask Kirk if you want better advice because this is all I can do.

| I'm actually having a blast prepping for the race, It's gonna be good fun for sure, but I don't wanna get stomped on by the guys running mid to low 30's on fuji, either. lol | |

| I run 43s and don't care. As long as I do well. | |

| My best is a 41, but 43's are consistant for me =]. So at least i know there'll be people of all skill levels competing. | |

| Luckily for me, I feel very confident that my times on Laguna Seca are fairly quick. I got low 37's/high 36's pretty much on lock. 38's seem pretty consistant though. | |
