It depends on how it's done. With some builds of some cars you can get to the exact spec, but it tends to take a lot of trial and error. It has to do with them basically rounding the horsepower, so if it has 250.0-250.4 It will work in online lobbies, but if its above 250.4 it won't. You just gotta test it before the actual race.

Haha, no problem. Every time I make a public lobby I limit all the assists off and no racing line and manual tranny (I don't use clutch) just to make sure people can't troll the lobbies. Sometimes I put on Simulation, too.

And it is kinda fun to watch people with ABS and racing line on wreck on the first right corner when they realize there's no ABS

I am fine with everything off except ABS. I hate standard brakes.

ABS doesn't upgrade your brakes lol it downgrades their effectiveness.

I know that. It gives you the benefit of steering during heavy braking, however, and that's a tactic I reoky on a lot when pulling my best runs down the mountain or on a track.

I run slower with ABS on than off for sure lol. It's always funny seeing someone that has no idea ABS is off and flys straight into the wall in turn 2. I always get a good chuckle no matter how many times I see it.

Honestly, I've had that happen to me.

I'm not trying to be a dick about you in particular, I apologize if that's how I came across... But i've seen it happen to a countless number of people, and i've definitly laughed so hard that i funked up the left corner right after it.

This is correct. You can always set up a lobby though and check to make sure your car is eligible before the race date.

@Obelisk, you better start practicing without ABS now because it will be turned off along with TCS and the racing line. We will also be running simulation damage so everyone needs to watch the early shifting or you will damage your motor.

Brief question. Is a dirty 1:43.508 a good lap time? (It was a clean lap, i swear. The game has thst quirk where it tags a lap as dirty the moment you hit the line)

It's actually making me pretty mad that sometimes just hitting the rumble strips dirties the lap time.

^It does that to me.

For a lap to start clean the last few corners before the starting line also have to be clean.

^That long righthand turn kills me on most of my laps

The on after the corkscrew?

Yes, the right after the corkscrew, right before the hard left onto the straight.

I have more problems with the corner 2 turns before the corkscrew, its a sharp left.
