Any of you ever use cars that have a handling PI in the mid 5 range as opposed to 6 and up? Just curious where the limit for handling > power really is.

You mean PI or the rating for handling, braking , speed, etc?
It's all about drivability , if you can handle a car with barely and handling upgrades and all power, then nice, but usually most only trade out a part or two for more hp parts

AE86s have at best 5.7 handling.

I'd say handling is mostly important then power? Its easy to chuck power in, but you wont be able to use it. However, perfect handling with a tweak off power should set the car just right!

Well yeah you upgrade the handling to the fullest but some cars just can't pull 1.1 lateral Gs.
