That was fun battling with you cheeky! Looks like you need to work alittle on throttle control to keep your back end in check going around corners. Other than that you're doing pretty good for such a hard car to learn in.

I went through the same exact thing when I first starting running touge with different people. I was hesitant in the corners because I did not want to make contact with the other drivers. Just keep at it and remember that no one here is going to freak out on you for trading a little paint.

Everyone's nervous when they start out. Confidence will come with time. Once you get faster, start off by trying to lead then once you can hold a lead switch to following. That's what I did and I still get nervous when I'm racing door to door diving into a sharp corner but its fun as hell! So just keep at it and keep it fun. As soon as you get frustrated with it take a break and come back and show that mountain who's boss!!

There is so much intensity when going two wide around a corner.

Is it mean if I admit that I love tapping people's bumpers on the straights and diving in side-by-side in the fastest, tightest, and most dangerous corners? Razz

I think its safe to say I really am taking in on all this advice, my issue is, I race people on here, but because they know the tracks so much better, I follow, however, some off you buggers are wayyyy to fast, its why me and PhatballeR work so well together, we started off drifting a long time ago then we came here, our times are very close to each other and a lot off the time it is eaither side by side or im on his door around bends, my other thing is, I think I am a lot faster with FWD as we speak, with RWD my natural habbit is to clutch kick and go hard.... What, results in drifting, slowing down, loosing..... I am making a small movie tonight / tomorrow though, shame I don't have a capture card Sad

Thats only if youre up againtst a good driver which is a good example of the difference between pros and amateurs.
At that point of of time your available lines are cut in half if not very limited.
Pros know their speed and can adjust their breaking to manipulate the exit to avoid the car next to them.
Amateurs typically dont know their speed and just use the same breaking point as if there driving alone thus entering way too fast and understeering in to the wall if on the outside of a corner or understeering in to the challenging car if on the inside of the corner.
