How the hell are players so fast?!?!?!?!?

I swear to god I play for a straight hour just to tune my 86 yet I never got anything close to 430
What the hell!!!!!
And for some reason I tried joining touge school but apparently no ones replying.
I try to make my car turn straight in those corners but it just won't.
Like I grip up my car with race tires are max tire width.
I make my front tires have more psi than my rear but still it understeers.
Idk if I should be mad at the game, my controller, or myself.
Some tips would be nice thank you

Well, realistically I would say you should be mad in combination with yourself, your game, and your controller lol. I'm with you, in my 86 I can only get into mid 40's on the NDH, but I will say that the 86 picks its driver. If your style isnt the most efficient in the 86, it takes A LOT of practice to get into the most efficient pace with those cars. I don't really think I'll ever truly understand how some of these pro's are getting into the mid 30's in that car and unlocking its full potential. I noticed with my 86 that the softer I have the suspension the better it feels for me. If i'm not mistaken my front/rear suspension is at like 225lbs/175lbs or something stupid low like that. I'm only an amateur, so don't take in what I have to say too heavily, because the pro's may completely contradict what I said lol.

if the suspension is lowered too much wouldn't it bottom out especially the NDH on that first part of corners is say the third corner in.but for some reason it never got a grip for me.

I lifted mine a little more than I would with the average car, as well. Normally I go as low as I can go but +0.1 rear and +0.2 front, with the 86 I think i went +0.3rear and +0.4 front lol. I basically made the suspension feel stock-er. I generally test my cars on stage B-R, and it doesnt seem to bottom out for me lol.

say what gear ratio do u drive in. I was trying to have a "wrc" transmission but there is a lot of shifting. Up and down. Yea it was tricky.

if by "WRC" you mean very short gears, i believe I do too. What I did though was put my final drive all the way to speed then fine tuned each gear (First will have to be as short as possible). I also realized that lunching in second seemed to make me even faster off the line.

yea but I like to keep my 5 gears.6 gears feel weird for me on a small car like an 86. You can change your individual gears and the final drive with 5 gears in real life tho. I dunno but still I doubt that will make my 86 go fast maybe by 1 sec.

Lol, to be honest I only do that final drive trick because it makes your reverse gear go up to like, 85MPH. And if I were to have to win a race in reverse, I could do it! lol.

I dunno but I think I might have raced you before. And of course lost but still u didn't drive like an amateur to me tho. I don't remember what car u used tho. I really can't remebr the las time I went into a touge lobby maybe like last week cuz there like no lobbies anywhere.

A time of 4:xx is not going to be achieved overnight. It will take a lot of time and hard work to yourself and your vehicle to achieve those times. Could you also explain what you mean by turning straight in the corners? I don't get what you mean exactly when you say that. As for the touge school, I would recommend to attempt to get in contact with your mentor again through XBL or PM's.

Lol, I may not be an amateur to you, but to guys like Kona, Kraze, Bukkaz, Beta, Mulchy, Strawberry, Clutch, King and all the guys in the "30's" category (I'm sorry to the guys that I left out), I'm nothing more than a novice. And Kona is right, i was in the same situation as you barely able to break the 5:00's mark, that tuning guide gained me 20 seconds compared to my old self. Kinda crazy, but all it takes is A LOT of practice to get where you want to be.

Everyone starts out somewhere, I started out not being able to break 5:00 but I started going against faster racers than myself and gradually got faster. These things take time

You aren't the first person to get frustrated with the 86 and you won't be the last. It's by far the most popular car to drive on the downhill (for obvious reasons). I don't mean to be rude but tuning for an hour isn't very significant. Getting up to this level usually takes hours upon hours of practice which probably could be better used elsewhere in life to be honest.

Too many beginners don't understand exactly what they're doing and end up ruining a car's balance because of tons of adjustments they made without understanding what they'll do to the car. You need a basic tune, don't touch anything you don't know how to handle. Don't take what's said in Initial D, or by me, or anyone else as fact. You can get advice, but always try it out and figure out what you like and what's fast. That being said, tuning isn't the secret. Kona can make 4:35 in an FC, I can make 4:37 in the same tune. Guess who's the better driver? It doesn't matter how much time I spend tuning, i'll never make seconds up with a tune alone. Drive constantly and you'll get better.

ya that's tru however I've played forza ever since forza 3 witht the 86. Then again the physics were a lot different between the two.well I'm pretty sure most of the fast players have joined touge school or something. I don't have a tutor or anything to show me.so I just got a multiple paragraph essay about tuning to help me.and I dunno but since I'm so young I found out a method but will eat away hours.
Its a lot more easier for me to race my ghost and get a lower time then before.but I have to finish race after another to race against my ghost.

Yeah right there, tuning aint the biggest secret getting mid 30´s. I spend more time tuning rather than racing, i like it, but no matter how much i tune it wont get me to mid 30´s.

At first times when i started to race touge i was in somewhere around 4.52 (b-class NDH) and now im getting around 4.41´s. So not too fast, and i too get sometimes frustrated coz lot of ppl are much faster.

Constant practise is the way to go imo too. Which is sad becose i dont have much free time as i used to have

you'll get faster as long as you keep running the track repeatedly. eventually your lines become smoother and your confidence in attacking corners grows. racing against faster drivers helps a lot too. like everyone before me said, just get a basic tune and keep running the pass. if you're not a tuning wizard throw a sport or street suspension on the car and run with that. if you haven't noticed, the fastest drivers are the ones who have been running fujimi (on forza 4) the longest
