So, Kraze, is that Fiesta better than its paper stats? Also, LOL at the "20" taped on the side. They couldn't find another way?

Mazda 3 definitely. There was a sedan one at my autocross event that only clocked 2 seconds slower than me but still faster than all the STIs and Evos that were there. It was gutted with sport tires though but still really quick.
Also I know Peacock has a Mazda 3 hatchback you can ask him about it.
edit: About my Fiesta ST, it's still bone stock but in terms of performance it's really amazing. Literally no understeer and in hard corners it tripods with the inner rear wheel off the ground. Full throttle sees very little to no torque steer (way less than the Focus ST that's for sure). It can embarass cars with twice the price tag at a small winding course (touge wink wink).

Peacock has only said wonderful things about the Mazda3, and its lease price is the most viable for me so we're taking a serious look at it. I'm actually going out to test drive one today.
And the Fiesta sounds great! What are its specs?

Holy crap, that little thing is fast!
Now I'm seriously impressed. Ford sure knows to make a hot hatch.

Ford Performance/Racing is on a roll at the moment.

Good in the front and a little cramped in the back but MUCH better than in coupes. Bit roomier than a Veloster.

I test drove a Veloster. Utter pile of crap. They put me in one of the bottom trims with a CVT. No power, no shifting. Ride comfort was worse than an F1 car.

Ford have always known how to make a hot hatch, and have always been good at it; especially when used for racing. Right from the MK1 Ford Escort RS 1600 and Mexico, right up to the new Ford Focus RS.
Also, you should look at this car Obelisk.

Hey guys! So update on the new car thing.
I'm looking at either the Mazda3 or the Scion iM (soon to be the Corolla iM come 2017). Both are 19k, and the 3 has better stats overall, but Toyota is offering incentives out of their ass for college students.
And I've just started learning how to drive stick.
In 45 minutes, I stalled the teacher's car twelve times. Poor Civic.

Hey Kraze, your pictures are screwing up the page dimensions of this page of the thread...
Speaking of... Here:
So, I'm considering saving money on the side to drop stuff into the new Mazda3. I've put 800 miles into it already, and I love it to death. I feel like it'd be a lot better with a nicer set of wheels and tires on it, and I could bump the HP up a little, since the area I live in is a tad hilly. Regarding the wheels, I was planning on keeping the wheel size and tire size identical to the manufacturer sizes (205 tires and 16' wheels) and I saw quite a few nice ones out online for little money.
I'd appreciate suggestions, etc.

Heard you boys like torque.
Built motor just got put in the Viggen. Torque/airmass req. map is 502 crank ft.lbs. Haven't dynoed yet but I'm predicting about 370whp and 430wtq, along with a nice new set of CH-R's. ;-)

took me a couple years to get the motor parts setup shit was expensive!! and adds up quick!
ive been thru a Bride seat obession and its led me on a wild goose chase settling and re selling its an addiction in itself.
heres the listof seats ive been thru:
started with this Zeta 2 sold that:
stumbled upon a Bride BRIDE KEIICHI MODEL 1 0f 300 quickly sniped it out
bought these out of impulse:
Bride Zeta 2 L and Zeta Neos 2
Sold those: told myself id be happy with a Bride Zieg 2 and my Bride Brix as a passenger but kept the brix and sold the Zieg.
Ended up buying Kevlar ZETA ZZR TYPE 01 (RALLY FIA SEAT THEY MADE IN 95) and a Kevlar Zeta i found on upgarage to match. at least i thought i was finally set but it wasnt the Zeros/ Maxis seats ive wanted since i saw NOBs HKS s15 with the red ZEROS seat back in the day i was inlove and the viod couldnt be filled no matter what kevlar model bride or how rare the seat was i had to keep searching just settling.
So one day randomly searching thru honda-tech forums i found a red maxis for sale from a thread from 2009 frantically trying to remember my old honda tech login, i found a email to citrus EK9 and he replied a few days later saying he didnt have the Red MAXIS anymore but had a Black pair in kevlar needless to say i sold both kevlar zetas and 3300 bucks later not to mention putting my build on a complete hold (drained all my savings for tune paint misc fluids etc) got my Dream seats ZEROS (Zieg alternative) and MAXIS (Zeta Neos alternative).
The three ladies ive kept (Flash makes the brix look blue but its a darker fabric):
So now after being flamed by my buddies that i could be driving but instead bought coolest seats im in the process of saving up and finishing my car. and my vision of what i want a perfect S13 to be is slowly coming together.
