What's been done to it? How many Type-R parts did the previous owner install?

So I have about $500 saved up and I'm debating on whether to spend them on Christmas for an Xbox One with FM6... or a COBB Accessport V3 ECU tuner for my Fiesta. It gives about +25 lb-ft torque to the wheels, very tempting.

At the peak it's very minimal, like 4 hp max, but at low rpms (2-3k) it can be as much as 15 hp or something.  So coupled with the extra 25lb-ft of torque at the low end of the powerband, it'll feel MUCH more than just a 4 hp increase.

edit: Forgot to mention the tune would override a factory setting that limits boost to 18 psi in 1st & 2nd gear.  Without the limiter the turbo would make the full 21 psi and peak power would climb from 182 hp to 197 hp.  So yeah... BIG gains to be had.

I'd go with the Cobb tuner. Real cars are much more fun than forza. Is your car still under warranty? If something breaks because of aftermarket parts you install, the dealer won't fix it under warranty.

Can someone recommend some good and reasonably priced alloy wheels? I'm looking for a set that'll work on my Impala.

I got my aluminum XXR 537s from AutoAnything for a little under $400 for the set of 4. Quality and paint are good, I'm happy with them. If I remember correctly, they weigh about 15 lbs each. XXR has a ton of different styles and colors, but I'm not sure if they have anything with your bolt pattern and offset. Worth looking into.

Yeah I have a 7 year warranty on it (I live in a pretty hot place with rough road surfaces so something is bound to break eventually). That's why I just wanna do the Cobb tuner because it's reversible. I can reupload the stock map or just unistall the tuned map before taking it back to the dealer for whenever I need a service or part replaced. Unistalling the tuner leaves no trace so there wouldn't be evidence that I ever used it in the first place.

Ok good, as long as you can still get stuff repaired under warranty.

Yeah I took that into consideration since voiding the warranty with aftermarket mods would totally F me over if I need an expensive part replaced in the future. Especially since $500 is a lot of money for me on top of monthly payments. I do hope to mod it a bit in the future with simple stuff that hopefully would never risk a warranty claim (a sweet exhaust note never hurt anybody... right?).

I've been AWOL for a while but, I sold my wagon and picked up one of my dream cars.  2000' Saab 9-3 Viggen.
(250 bhp, 258 ft-lbs)

I kept my BBS's that I had on the wagon ;-)

And for any of you that are into driving, I went to the Tail of The dragon with some friends back in October and got the sweet picture at Bridal Veil Falls.

I'd upvote the hell out of that last picture. Good God that's quite a nice sight.

Looks to be in great condition, nice car man! One question, how much do Saabs and Subarus have in common? I remember being in a Saab once and the interior was like 90% Impreza lol

Like 1%. People always ask me that and they are not similar in the least. The only one that is similar to a Subaru is the Saabaru.  It was a cross manufacturer project under GM and they took the WRX wagon and stuck a Saab front end and badges on it.  The "linear" is the base model with the 2.5 NA and the "Aero" is the WRX with the 2.0t.

As far as the interior thing you stated, I have no idea.  I've only been in a 2005 and the 2015 STi and this is what my interior looks like.

(Mine is black though, the blue interior accents came on the Lightning Blue Viggens)

Then I must have rode in a Saabaru then. Pretty weird that one joint project seems to have been one of the most memorable Saabs. Still a sweet car though (2.3L turbo? Nice).
